What has kept your interest in CC for so long?

Postby King Engineer on Fri Mar 08, 2013 12:22 am

Just curious, what is it about CC that has had you play this game for Years/Months?!

I've been here for a year and for me its:

1) New Maps = New Strategies = fun
2) Maintaining and improving my rank
3) Learning new maps/strategies for Clan
4) Socializing with friends (mostly clanmates)
5) Helping others in understanding map/strategies/techniques

What about you?

To be honest? Probably being a mod.

I grow bored of websites pretty quickly. The maps are cool, users can be fun, but my interest in the games part has waned. Maybe if I had more time to play more games, but my work schedule is so heavy..

So yeah, have pretty colours in my name is probably keeping me here

For me I would have to say its a great time filler for all those moments I get bored. I also play it alot because ofthe fact taht most of my freinds in real life suck so to play risk I have to play it here. I also enjoy pwning people at freestyle. But most of all, now that I'm in a clan I enjoy team game strategy and how the game never gets old cause you always have something new to deal with and react to from an opponents play. I also LOVE learning new maps.

1. OT: Good Times, Fun Oldies
2. Social experimentation with and observation of conscious, cyber entities. (Basic question: how exactly do online humans coordinate?)
3. Admire a few posters' writing skillz.
4. Observing spontaneous order while centrally planning with teammates in experiments of game theory (i.e. playing CC games)*

*somebody should really run CC and CC-esque games through game theory models.

Freestyle combined with 1 minutes turns.. now.. when they come up with 10 second turns they'll have a member for life... hate staring at the screen for 50 seconds every turn...
