Chain of Command

The women smiled as she looked at the gasoline and the blow torch. The previous two nights had gone well for her. She had eliminated two of the women who were her biggest obstacle in getting to the man she was after and now she had been led to the house of another woman who may get in her way. She had already prepped the house to burn quickly. Leaving herself a way out when it did but her target was late getting home that night and she was beginning to wonder if she would spend the entire night out.

Finally late a man stepped through the door. It wasn't who she had expected but it was too late now. The man saw her, caught her red handed in someone else's house holding the flame. She had no choice. She waited as he approached her angrily and then set the fire right in front of him. The man tried to back track but the fire had already spread to his clothes and now had him surrounded. He screamed in agony as the flames engulfed him.

Bgthebrain-Captain Matthews-Vanilla Townie has been killed.

Not actually a picture of him on the show but couldn't get the other ones to work

As night settled on Miami, a man once again drove around looking for his target. The previous night had been frustrating for him and the first night resulted in the wrong target. He was hoping he could find the right target tonight. He had been searching around and he stumbled upon a suspicious person walking the streets. He still wasn't this was the right target but he elected to follow them for a while.

It seemed he had struck gold when he followed the man entering a house that did not belong to him. So he drove around the corner and then prepared his kill kit. However by the time he got back the house was ablaze. He could tell if the man escaped or not but he did see a woman staring at the flames for a moment before fleeing. He pursued.

It was a short chase. The woman became aware that he was following her quickly but she wasn't dressed for running and he was faster than her. He caught up stuck the needle in her neck and dragged her off to his kill room. He had focused so much on her though he had failed to see the other woman fleeing in the opposite direction. Nor did he notice that the woman he had caught was the current Lieutenant for his department.

LSUTigerJosh-Lt. Esme Pascal-Town Busdriver has been killed.

It is now Day 4. With 6 alive it takes 4 to lynch.

I will officially apologize to BG as far as his role and the incident day 1. I checked each role (skimmed back through them) before sending. I just somehow missed that I put his in the wrong color at the time.

Alright. I am tired of this. Who is role blocking me? Come out and make a case if you are town, otherwise piss off and find another target. It should be blatantly obvious that you are not stopping any kills by continuing your action. Also, at this point I think a forced mass claim would be best We have dex, me, Doakes and the role blocker who I assume is town. That leaves the killer and one other who we would need to decide between. I also assume that Dex won't flat out claim because some sort of mechanic with Doakes, but if we get this wrong Dex AUGHT to be able to kill the arsonist in the night. Also, we may be in dire straights if the fire is a delayed mechanic, and I can't be bothered atm to look to see if d1 had an arson kill or not.

I agree that we are probably at the point of a mass claim. Before I go ahead and do so, I want a couple of other opinions just in case we have a better proposal.

Unless someone has a solid lead from last night, I think we should explore the supposed roleblocks of edoc. A couple of things I think should be initially pointed out:

1) We already have one roleblocker, why would there be 2? We haven't had any other overlapping roles, not counting VTs, so why would we have 2 roleblocking roles?

2) Dexter didn't kill on N2 and edoc said that he was roleblocked that night. Last night Dexter killed and edoc claims that he was RB'd again. . .what gives? Safari, did you RB edoc last night?

I roleblocked chap last night. That roleblock that edoc claims was not me. At least this means chap is neither the woman nor Dexter.

Just putting this out there, but it's possible edoc is lying about being roleblocked....I'll be honest, I have a feeling edoc is Dexter but I can't really put my finger on why.

I am Sergeant Detective Maria LaGuerta - Town Jailer

I blocked edocsil the last two nights. I believe he is Dexter. He was stopped night two and several off his statements have seemed inconsistent and scummy, which is why I pressed him and voted him. No one else seemed interested at the time so I felt time would be an ally in that regard.

Dexter killed last night so unless some more puzzle pieces fit I would have to change my mind.

So yes a mass claim is in order.

edoc- doctor who was jailkept by IB
me- roleblocker who roleblocked chap
chap- not one of the killers.

That mean epitaph and jak are the woman and dexter.

Not so fast there, saf.

I'm Vince Masuka - Lead Forensic Investigator. Each night I have the ability to inspect the body of one person who has been slain at night and determine the cause of death. N2 I investigated ShaggyDan and found a knife and N3 I investigated Aage and found a blow torch.

I suspect that my role would have been more helpful if all the killers were out and about, but killing jonty on D1 narrowed the list for us already and diminished my role.

The only two people who are cleared so far are edoc and IB, and that's assuming they are not colluding with each other, which I don't think that they are. Saf clears chap if saf is who he says that he is, but I'm not so sure about that. N1 and N2 he conveniently RB'd a VT (supposedly) and he's played with reckless abandon the entire game. Based on his aggressive stance towards BG, I thought for sure he was a lyncher, but now I think he's just one of the SKs. His NV theory has been shattered and his attempt to lead lynches have fallen flat. You made a valiant effort, but it was all for naught.

We have no way to know you are telling the truth as you role blocked BG the first two nights, who turned out to be a VT.

Now if you are telling the truth it of course boils down to Jak, who is MIA and Epitaph.

Talk about a role that cannot be confirmed. You easily could have made up a role based on scene flavor.

Not to mention, you bring nothing to the table that can easily be verified. Did you lead us to a lynch of an SKer? Nope. Did you find out the identity of dexter? Nope. All you're doing is trying to make up a role that can't be disproved because you don't have to make up any night actions.

I will also add that the role is pretty much irrelevant and useless for this game. By reading the scenes we have easily determined the info without need of such a role. Finally it is already established that this is a game full of serial killers. We knew that coming out of the starting gate. This role is designed for games where we have no idea who the killer is or what type of killers we have.

I'm working with the cards that I was dealt. Did I lead us to a SK? No. Did anyone else? No. You can use the same answers in regards to Dexter as well. I'm working within the abilities I am given. Like I said, my role would have been much more helpful had all 3 SKs been on the loose each night.

Saf has been playing us this entire game. He was bound and determined to lynch BG on D2 and D3 based on an obviously flawed premise. He wanted nothing more than to get a mislynch when there was so much confusion about BG's role color and I have no doubt that he's one of the remaining two SKs. His reckless disregard has been blatantly against the town's interest and almost cost us a townie, which would have put us in a 3 v 2 situation.

Even if we had a third sk night one your ability would be useless with this format. I find it hard to believe that the mod would make such a detailed night scene by describing how the killers killed their victims and then include your role thinking it would be useful. The night scenes already tell us what the killers used...DUH.

QFT Scenes are too explicit to have this role in the game. I want verification of Saf's actions and Jak's claim before proceeding, but this is the proper direction IMO.

I will say that it's possible chap doesn't have a night action so he can't necessarily confirm me, but with 2 claimed blocking roles, I'm perfectly willing to no lynch today and roleblock Epitaph and suggest that IB jailkeeps jak.

I mean, I'm 90% sure jak is Dexter at this point, and if he indeed is overeager/anti town, then we would like to keep the town numbers up if possible.
