50 million to 1 odds on this thing destoying the world. I'm taking bets and offering even better odds. Forget 50 million to 1 - I'll pay out 100 million to 1 if it does destroy the planet. Minimum stake is $50 please contact me for payment methods :D

Indeed, dude!

Reminds me of the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider

I think about this beast every night before I go to bed and cross my fingers that the world won't be a black hole in the morning.

Well the possibility is kind of cool, in the abstract, but I can't see me losing any sleep over '50,000,000 : 1' odds.

What's special about this 'Hadron' (teehee) dealy anyway? Y'know, that makes it more crazy than Meggy's collider.

I'm really not that bothered about finding the answers if the answers could involve the end of the world :D

Anyway, I quite enjoy inane arguments with the theists about the start of the world!

50 million to 1? Only slightly worse odds than the odds that any of the people interviewed actually have a clue.

So, I'm 5 times more likely to win the lottery on Saturday than to die in a huge black hole? Like them odds..

Thing is, it's in Switzerland. A big black hole could already have happened, and no-one would have noticed.
