Battle royale-like games

I was just curious about how easy or hard it is to make a new setting for games with alot of players (10 or more). Earlier, i was looking through the forums for stuff on Battle Royales, and i stumbled this topic. http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=80350&highlight=#80350

I'm sure there are alot of people that would like to play in a game like that. and by the looks of it, Troy can make them. So how hard would it be to make it a setting?

DeathToAll has exclusive rights to create them, thats why all the others have been deleted. Until that changes, this is impossible.

maybe we can buy into it...Id gladly cough up a few bucks to play one....probably pay to play once a month... lack really should take advantage of us while he can....I can already feel the addiction slipping....and Ive seen it slip for many with lots of games.....he needs to steal our money while the cc fever is in its prime...

You'd have to talk to Lack about that, but since DTA is his brother, I'm guessing no.

It doesnt' look like DTA has much of an intrest in cc. He hasn't posted in 3 months, and the last game he joined (Battle Royale 3) was 4 months ago. There aren't any visible advantages to keeping his "exclusive rights", (other than the possibility of selling them), and i'm sure that someone would help set it up for free.

His rights should be spread out in my opinion - give some of the more experienced players or mods or whatever the ability to create Battle Royales every couple of months or so

I just want him to make a new one. I think if he is going to have those "exclusive rights" Lack should make him be a bit more regular in making those games. I mean, it can't be too hard and there seems to be a lot of interest and people are getting anxious for another one.

I'm starting to get really paranoid that so many people are waiting for a new one - I think I'd go into extreme depression if I missed getting into the next one I constantly check the tournaments forum

How about a battle royal every month and the winners from each game compete in like a Battle Royal Championship.

once a month would mean 12 people a year would be added to the championship. Lets say 50 was the minimum of players for a battle royale. it would take 4 years and 2 months to get the minimum for a championship, by which time some of those players may have left CC. Plus that is 3 times longer than CC has been in existance. Did you think this through before you typed it?
