Also, the fact that I suggested out of the blue that we lynch Vodean, who turned out to be Mafia, should be more than enough to prove I am Town.
Yomiel wrote:You continue to stand out as well.
Again, what happened with Vodean very strongly suggests I'm Town.
And how could and why would I lie about an item in those circumstances? I had the item and knew the restrictions, which I shared. Yet you say I'm the one who was lying? I could have no motivation for doing so. I was even able to show I'd been talking with Neb. Those there come along, claim things that are not true, then suddenly back one another... You should be voting one of them, not the only one who is clearly innocent.-.-

Yomiel wrote:No comment, /?
My thoughts are that the issue with Yomiel and the walkie talkies is a pointless diversion. Yomiel is probably town and simply just confused/way too stubborn and unwilling to consider that his initial thought may have been a mistake. I mean, I don't see me, Pershy, and Iron forming some sort of conspiracy where we are lying about how thw walkie talkie. And if Yomiel is scum and trying "frame" the group of us then that is the one of the worst scum strategies I've ever seen. All it would accomplish is an elaborate way for him to commit suicide. (Unless we are at MYLO, which I doubt.)thehippo8 wrote:Why, what are your thought on that issue? (If just to take the wind of your sails) Can you quote the post were you mentioned that claiming to have this item while you still have it would get you modkilled. Specifically the one were you mentioned this key info before I claimed to have the walkie talkie? I can't see to find it. I can only see you saying it afterwords.Yomiel wrote:I had the item first, and I'd already posted about how it works.

Yomiel wrote:I think I was pretty clear that it wasn't the ax... Anyway, the host told me I can say, and it was a walkie-talkie. One half of the item would get passed around, and we would get to decide who lost their half. But we're not allowed to say who we are or what our role is on it, and if we try to say something that hints at either, the host removes it. So, we both pretty much ignored it. There wasn't any upside to having it under those conditions.
spiesr wrote:My interpretation of the walkie talkie deal. Based on Yomiel's claim it appears that: Yomiel and Nebuchadnezzar both had a walkie talkie item. This item allowed them some form of limited communication. (From the sound of it, it seems as if their messages had to be sent through the mod.) Yomiel is claiming a lot of restrictions on what you could say with it, which in my opinion severely hamper the potential usefulness. Additionally, he says that the owners of these items could choose to voluntarily give up their item, passing it to another player. (Yomiel, if you gave up the walkie talkie could you choose you got it next, or was it "random.")
One thing to keep in mind about all of this, is that this claim itself doesn't clear Yomiel as being town. There isn't any reason why an owner of this pseudo mason item couldn't be scum.
Yomiel wrote:We couldn't choose-we had to give it up. All we got to pick was who gave theirs up. We couldn't both keep them, and we couldn't choose who it got passed on to. And I myself said that the item was essentially useless because of the restrictions. On top of my role, it kind of hampered my enjoyment. I kind of wish I had been Mafia.@_@ But I'm not. And I've been to inactive to plot much of anything these past few days. Still not on my normal computer, and it's thrown me off.
I'm casting my suspicion on hippo, who is clearly trying to twist facts for some reason. I don't see how my item or it's disappearance could be a red herring.

I disagree with this statement. You correctly fingered a member of the mafia. However, you didn't lead the lynch, (doing so requires you to convince people to follow you) I would give credit for that to /.Yomiel wrote:And there is nothing wrong with my playing style, considering I got the Godfather killed.
Is Pershy no longer scum on your list then?Yomiel wrote:Hippo, Spiesr, and Iron are my top Mafia pics.
This doesn't say anything about a modkill.Yomiel wrote:Yomiel wrote:I think I was pretty clear that it wasn't the ax... Anyway, the host told me I can say, and it was a walkie-talkie. If my claim to have the item is false for the reasons you say it is, then shouldn't Pershy's be equally as false for the same reasons? Or I am suspected for another reason?Yomiel wrote:Pershy is more of a side-suspect and always has been.
I am well aware that you mentioned some of the restrictions before I claimed the item. However, I specifically asked for where you mentioned the MODKILL part of the restrictions before I claimed it. You didn't provide that part. If you didn't mention that at any time before I claimed it that is fine, you just you to admit it.Yomiel wrote:And you seem to have ignored most of the quotes, as well as what you asked for. You now have proof that I posted about these restrictions and how the item worked BEFORE you made your claims, which are false claims.
