Okay, so this guy bashed on me today for only playing FS games, saying i suck, and I'm only colonel because I play FS. I choose not to believe that, as I have half FS and half seq. I even checked myself. Does everybody else agree that half and half would make an equal skill level needed to be a colonel?

Ask yourself this Gabriel,if you didnt play FS or team games,would you be able to attain colonel rank.

If you say yes,then take about 4 weeks dont play any FS games and play some where its up to you alone if you win the game.

If you dont see a major reduction in points and still play an apportioned number of games yes you deserve your rank.

Not saying you dont, but it will show that you can play any style and maintain. And will silence anyone from saying you cant.

There is no rule saying you must play certain games.
if you enjoy just one type of play and one map you can do that too.
Just play what you enjoy. The opinion of others is just that, an opinion.

well.... here's my 2 cents... if you're a good freestyle player, you'll be able to stay at a (relatively) higher rank simply because there aren't that many good freestyle players who play regularly on this site anymore and many who join the freestyle games created aren't good at it... I would put it this way.. look at all the freestyle games you play.. the more top freestylers you've played, the more legit your score is... if you play noobs all day long, then your score is a bit suspect...

If I only played sequential games i would guess i'd hover around 2000 and spike up to 2500 once in a while and drop down to the 1800's once in a while... there is a lot of luck on first go in sequential games and winning at a real high % for a long period of time is possible, but difficult...

Nicely said, but in all fairness

The difference there though was he was coercing players to play him, not just opening the games to anyone.

i do think that sequential and freestyle scores should be counted separately since a while. very different games!

Agreed, there should be many scoreboards and not just the one as there are many types of play now, making many different games
