Regarding Neb, I do get the feeling that he is somewhat hiding behind his PR. I can't say if he is doing this intentionally or not, but that is certainly the effect it is having. Basically when I think of Neb in this game all I see is his PR. Everything else about him has been obscured by it, and I don't feel good about that.

Vote Count

/ - 1 (Neb)
Jonty - 2 (Yoshi, IB)
Yohsi - 1 (Jak)
Neb - 1 (Shaggy)

With 12 alive it takes 7 to lynch. You have until You have until 12:01 AM ET (GMT-04:00) on July 9th (roughly 24 hours) to reach a decision.

A review of the rules seem to indicate that a no lynch do to not reaching a majority will not be likely.

If no majority is reached at the end of the deadline if made, the player with the most votes will be lynched and the game will enter into the night phase. In the event of a tie, the lynchee will be determined by a 24-hour final ballot in which every player casts a final (no changes) vote for ANY player. If there is still a tie, a runoff ballot will be held between the two or more who tied. The deadline may be extended upon request.
On Safariguy's vote. Sure, he said the town could have his vote. That isn't exactly the same as saying he will find the scum for us. If we present a case and ask him to contribute to it he probably will at this point. However, as third party I don't seem him taking the lead on any cases unless it is an attempt to kill his target.

A note on votes and unvotes: by "distinct" I mean I will see it clearly during the skim I make when compiling a vote count. If I miss it, chances are it was an error on my part, but that's not necessarily the case. Do me a favor and use bold, color, or both. Thank you.

The problem is with the person with the most votes being.lynched make it much easier for mafia to stack two or three votes on someone and lynch. With so little tome.left we should all pile votes on someone. Its a bad plan but its better than someone being lynched on three or so votes just cause we're so divided.

I'm happy to follow / for a lynch or even the third parties. Maybe our confirmed third party, as risky as it is it seems like a trustable person to lead a RL. Spread out votes and indecisiveness will lead to a mafia led lynch. I think neb would work as a policy lynch on the PR but I'm happy to follow a majority, third party or evem the flavour cop at this stage (despite the fact none are clear).

It is also possible, as jak pointed out, that jak was the character mentioned in the scene. The thing is that we have already been proven 100% wrong about the scene once today. We assumed that edoc targetted Mr. S. We were wrong about edoc and we could very rightly be wrong about Mr. S too.

Another thing. If I am so wrong for voting Mr. Squirrel, why has nobody else pointed out that Mr. S is clear on NOBODY's lists so far? Apparently I am a douche for putting him on the possible suspects list, but he is not cleared, even on his own list.

This is where I start having problems. Suggesting a second busdriver based more or less on complete flavor spec stretches the interpretations of what is a pretty confusing night scene. I think that at this point, it's much too early to be able to deduce how many people are mentioned in the scene. But generally speaking, the simplest explanation is generally the best. Two busdrivers is not a simple explanation.

Suddenly, a voice bellowed from the blue:

Day 2, Post 3.

I am pretty sure I unvoted /.

I don't know where to go. I guess I can get on the Jonty wagon (unless town will now say I'm BW). He's been a bit sketchy on his play. Given that a "claim" won't necessarily indicate town or mafia, we kind of have to go off of play only, not a reliance on "oh, that is a scum role" type of thinking. Jonty seems a bit off on his posts and his responses.

I'm still very wary of the 3rd party players. Sure, they can say they'll help town...but can we really trust them?

Also, safariguy makes a good point about Doomyoshi. He has had several posts that are seeming to be based on the flavor of the scene, rather than the posts of players. However, I am reluctant to vote for him at this point, until he does something overly scummy.

At this point, I can see that NOT voting won't provide any help to town. So...

vote Jonty

ShaggyDan...I don't know how I can address your concerns on my post count. I'm putting as much thought as I can. It makes me wonder why you keep bringing this up. I know I'll be an easy attack target because of the restriction, for the argument you have presented..."I can't get a read on Neb because he can't post a lot."

I won't be on again to change my vote, so I'm hoping I'm right...or if another lead comes up, hopefully my vote won't be needed.

Snootchie Bootchies.

Lacking a frontrunner for their highly logical system of government after the deaths that day, the townspeople grabbed the person with the most votes against him. This turned out to be jonty, who was, at the time, studying the New York Times' effect on man. He did not resist his hanging, and by sundown much of the town had let him hang on his own.

And hang he did. His heart still beating.

"Don't leave us hanging now."

"I believe we'll be stuck here some time. Oh, if only master Luke could help us..."

"I'm happy to heckle these shenanigans. At least it's not Monster-a-Go-Go."

"I take it that wouldn't be enjoyable?"

Yeah, I fucked up. It's night 2. Well, it was.

------------------------------------------------------------------

The shadow lurked about again, looking for a new victim. He stumbled across the home of a giant. He tried to slay the great warrior, but he could not even scratch his armor. Then the warrior raising himself from his bed, smacked the shadow with the flat of his sword and sent him flying into the atmosphere. When he came crashing down from his low orbit, he found he had a terrible fever...

"It's gonna be a long drive.. I believe... THE GIANTS WIN THE PENNANT! THE GIANTS WIN THE PENNANT!"

"Pennant?" "What pennant?"

"Oh, for the love of..."

Meanwhile, in the graveyard, a figure stood above the grave of edocsil. He bent the very fabric of time itself, and the earth began to move. A hand came up from the ground, and edocsil walked the earth again.

Edocsil has been resurrected (and I want to be perfectly clear that an in-game effect caused this).

It is now Day 3, because time is a fickle mistress. You have until July 20 at 12:00 noon. With 13 alive it takes 7 to lynch

Tracked yomiel. She went no where. I then daykilled her as I was fairly confident that she wasn't town power. Didn't expect her to revenge slay my ass, due to the fact that I was already the likely lynch target. Also, if she WAS some sort of bomb I would rather have taken the hit then been lynched and not let her continue to make a muck of things.

*cracks knuckles*

I can track at night, and then I can choose to kill the following day. I cannot kill those I have tracked previous nights. My resurrection seems a bit necrotic, but my allegiance is still with the town and my abilities have not changed.

I would like to know why jonty did not die. If it was a governor or if he is lynch proof will determine my next moves.

Hmm, my biggest question is.. What happened with the Jonty thing?

Also with the scene, it seems to suggest that the figure tried killing... Neb? Neb, could you clarify a bit more on your role?

I visited Shaggy last night as my target so the shadow figure is definitely not me it seems. Especially with a kill attempt >.<. Shaggy I can confirm isn't a killswitch (Whatever good that does for town XD, it helps me and Saf though).
