I can accept that things can crop up but this was 13 hours ago, slightly more than a few Mr. S. I wait with bated breath.
A dark silhouette crept its way towards a home, with intent to kill the inhabitant. A large man loomed nearby, but the interloper was willing to risk passing him. Suddenly, the dimensions twisted, and the intruder, sneaking past the armed guard, only tied up his victim instead.

He is basically just hoping the other one gets randomly lynched. Jak has all but confirmed that he can investigate these killswitches, but that still leaves safariguy screwed in the end.

So far the only person who meets the description of the night scene is Jak. He has stated he is Ninja. He has stated he can sneak. he needs to kill specific targets to win.

I would think it means the goal is for killswitch B to make jak lynch saf first and visa versa, then their own death would be irrelevant since they won?
jak111 wrote:Well with your list Mr.S I think I can sorta give us a few options for the next 2 days if the town is willing to listen.
1. Safariguy5 - lyncher/killswitch
2.Iron Butterfly
3. Tails
4. jonty125
5. DoomYoshi
6. Nebuchadnezer
7. Mr. Squirrel
8. ShaggyDan
9. Jak - Anti-lyncher/killswitch ninja
10. Shield
With 2 confirmed/trusted people out of the way we are left with 10 people. If what Saf is saying is true, one of these 10 people is another 3rd party role (Unless the other killswitch is a mafia, which I'm not really ready to rule out just yet). But there are 8 unclaimed left. With a game this size I think people can agree that perhaps 3 mafia are out there? That'd give us 3/8 of hitting mafia today (Which is pretty high, almost 50%) However, if we take from what Saf says, the chance we hit non town is 4/8 or 1/2.

safariguy5 wrote:I just said lyncher because it's the closest "standard" role I can think of that would describe a killswitch. Basically, killswitch is a hybrid lyncher/survivor role. The other killswitch must die and I must survive until Day 5. If I can't get rid of the other killswitch by Day 5, then both of us die and neither of us wins. I assume the other killswitch is trying to get me killed as well.
I suppose the advantage here is that at least I'm claimed, so hopefully town/mafia night kills won't be targeting me. With any luck, the other guy gets killed at some point between now and Day 5. Course, if jak needs to take both of us out to win, then I'm boned, but at least I have a slightly better shot of winning now that / outed me as third party.
Unless some of the collection of third parties who want each other dead have some abilities that can inflict harm upon the town, the town has no interest in lynching any of them. You guys will just have to sort it out on your own. Unless we are in a situation where we find you likely to side with the scum you simply aren't a concern. Fortunately, with you claimed win conditions all at odds with each other you won't be forming a third party voting block which could pose a threat to a town victory.jak111 wrote:As for the statement that / made, you're very wrong. Not saying you're not thinking, but, you're not seeing this as a double edge sword. You say this does not concern town, when it very much does. We don't need to be aiming for this other 3rd party, but he's out there and it wouldn't hurt taking him out if we find him. You're saying it doesn't effect town. Wrong. It effects town very much. Think about it, we're two 3rd parties here and we're sided with town for our own benefit. You do not want to lose 2 extra 3rd party votes against 1 that may decide to side with Mafia. This is no threat, but do not pin our problem so lightly, because as long as he is out there and unknown, he is a problem to the both of us and you.
Day 2, Post #2.
Tailgunner. I did not kill Yomiel. The death scene of Edoc clearly shows that he killed Yomiel. Although, I can't fault Edoc for the kill...
As for third parties, I would leave them all alone for now. My one problem is this...while they should go along with town for now, I'm unclear how the heck they actually eliminate each other. Which means, I don't know what they will do when day 4 rolls around, and they are all still alive...how the heck do they kill each other, now that they are outed? Can either of you confirm how you are able to eliminate your targets?
So, I think we've narrowed down the mathematics of what's left...where does that leave us? I initially thought / was scummy for his jump on edoc. Safariguy then jumped his vote...I now see why...being third party, he's hoping for lynching the other killswitch...he'll bandwagon on anyone.
Given that / is a role cop, and that someone else trusted him to give him additional investigations, I'm going to UNVOTE. I think we need a role cop available, and we can test him as we go on.
However, that leaves me with few options. A couple of players have done small things that bother me, but nothing overly scummy. So, let's start with who I will NOT vote...
Player List
1. / - Psychic flavor cop - seems to be townish, even though he jumped on edoc.
2. Safariguy5 - lyncher/killswitch - leave the 3rd party alone for now.
3. spiesr - bulletproof/bodyguard/bomb thing - Seems to be town.
12. Nebuchadnezer - Snootchie Bootchies.
15. Jak - Anti-lyncher/killswitch ninja - leave him for now...although the ninja part scares me.
Who I would vote:
4. Iron Butterfly - would vote
6. Tails - would vote
7. jonty125 - would vote
8. DoomYoshi - would vote
13. Mr. Squirrel - would vote
14. ShaggyDan - would vote
16. Shield - would vote.
At this point, I'll hold my vote. I have no good case to present at this point...

ShaggyDan wrote:I agree with neb's list of potential candidates for votes (but sub out my name for his from my POV of course). The cop and bodyguard are not cleared but the risk vs. reward is too great. I'm getting town reads off both, / was accurate twice and forthcoming with the info, and lynching a protective role at this stage seems foolish.
If noone objects we could all put forward our man FOS from the list and proceed from there. I hope to have time to do a full re read and ranking of the 7 within the next day or two. At the very least will have my main suspects worked out.
And although it is not a main priority, I find it very hard to believe saf has no actions, and I don't like the idea of trusting third party at all when they could easily be lying about roles, actions and win conditions. That said it seems like something that has to wait at this stage.
safariguy5 wrote:I reread my role PM, and no, I do not have any night actions or anything that will allow me to kill my target. Of course, I don't have to personally kill the killswitch, the other guy simply has to die. So I can think of several ways that guy could be killed.
And I have no reason to side against town, whatever it takes to get the other killswitch, I will do.

Just a feeling. The other two, because I haven't noticed Tails that much and neither have I noticed Shield really all that much. (out of the 8 people who are unknown). So 3/8 people for me picking is just coincidence that you're one of the 8 and that my gut is never right when I'm around you X3.
However, to answer Jonty, as far as I know, I stay in the game until Endgame. I'll ask for clarification on a bit tonight

Other suspected, but not claimed roles:
Busdriver
2nd lyncher/killswitch
The Night Scene:A dark silhouette crept its way towards a home, with intent to kill the inhabitant. A large man loomed nearby, but the interloper was willing to risk passing him. Suddenly, the dimensions twisted, and the intruder, sneaking past the armed guard, only tied up his victim instead.
The only thing that I find confusing about this scene is the "dimensions twisted" part. The more I read it, the less convinced I am that this was a busdriver. It seems like I was the target, but his action was somehow lessened so that it only roleblocked instead of killed. If PCM put an enhancer in this game, perhaps there is some sort of anti-enhancer who targeted the killer.
As for the third party conundrum, it really doesn't seem to affect most of us townies. If they want to settle it on their own, thats fine. They don't control the lynch. And since / has confirmed one of them as third-party, I'm not too worried that this is some sort of ballsy scum ploy.
I think the worst part of this day is that we lost edocsil before we could figure out what he did last night. Every little bit of info helps.
Jonty, sorry if this post wasn't super enlightening, but it was mostly intended just to get myself (and anyone else confused) up to speed. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure where to go from here. Tails seems to have a scummy feeling about yoshi, but for me to suggest following that would be construed as OMGUS.![]()
No matter what though, we really need to knock out some scum. We've lost 4 townies now and still have no decent leads.
