wat cake albums you got? I have comfort eagle, but my favorite song is definately "The distance"
Fashion Nugget, Comfort Eagle, and Pressure Chief.
Yea, I love this distance, but my favorite song is probably either "Shadow Stabbing" or "Frank Sinatra". Thier new song "Wheels" is pretty good too. They actually do a surprisingly good remake of "I Will Survive" on Fashion Nugget, I would recommend that album the most.
oo shadow stabbing is great! i dont really like i will survive or frank sinatra, i dont really know why though
Yea, originally i felt the same way about i will survive and frank sinatra, but I found the more i listened to it, the more i enjoyed it. Another good song just listen to is "Arco Arena", its short but its just awesome.
ya its a good instrumental. i like symphony in c. all of cakes songs have really weird lyrics.
Yea, symphony in c was my favorite cake song for a while.
And about the lyrics, I have been trying to understand some of the stuff that he's talking about, he uses a lot of metaphors and he discribes actual events as different ones. I haven't quite gotten to understand symphony in see, but it most likely has to do with someone in his life and not about conducting and orchestra. It takes some really haard thinking to try to see where he's coming from lol.
Like in the song "sheep go to heaven", he's clearly nt talking about sheeps and goats, but using them as an ananolgy to express diderent personalities of people.
And "Opera Singer" is just in general about fame and being an artist, not so much just and Opera Singer, but that one is a little bit easier to understand.
And "the Distance" is about someone who wont give up on a girl even after she is with someone.
But still, most of thier songs, I just can't seem to grasp what he is getting at.
