Do you lose points according to your rank or the points ?

I'm wondering if we lose points against another player (in 1 v 1) in according to the rank that the palyers have or according to the number of points each player has?


Also, in team vs team format, are the ranks/points of the teams averaged out when it comes to points? Or does the winning team members gets the points that the highest ranked member of the winning team would had got in winning 1 v 1 from the lowest rank member of the losing team?

I'm afraid I've worded this question very confusingly........so in simpler terms, How are the points calculated when a player/team wins from the opposing player/team?

It's all done by points.

The formula is [(losing player score)/(winning player score)]*20

If it is a team game, you add up the team's scores and do the same thing.

there's also a limit to like 100 points per game (or player) maximum, this is to prevent players from dropping to 1 point on purpose and than win a game versus a high-ranked opponent to get a massive amount of points per game. you also can't get below 1 point.

for example if there was no limit to amount of points you can gain and you would go against a 2000 point player and win while having only 1 point, you'd get 40000 points in one match. which would be ridiculous.

Everyone starts with 1000 points.

If you play someone with 1000 and you have 1000 then the winner gains 20 points and the loser loses 20 points.

Then the winner is at 1020 and the loser is at 980. This happens every game. So, when a game finishes, your scores changes. If you go to your wall, you can see your score there.

Oh right. So your performance in each individual game has no bearing on the final score! Its all down to a players current ranking!
