Someone asked me for rule clarification.
You may post in any shade of purple, for what counts as purple, see this article

Breaking even one rule in one post leaves you open to mod-kill, if the mod can catch it.

The rules sound like they were made by shield, but since he has not yet opened his role pm then it is likely that someone, knowing his MLP fetish, would have tried to pin this on him. The obvious conclusion is to Sunshine clever.

Hay Bacon strips, hay bacon strips (I can provide the reference for this parody on demand, all my MLP references will be taken from the flash parody series of Epic Meal Time). With shield out of the running, this attempt to pin this on him has probably backfired.

Sunshine JG !Now, I know we all *sarcasm* love MLP, but can the mod PLEASE not make this a rule tomorrow, otherwise just mercy kill me :roll:

Im voting JG because the obvious reasons (I have nothing to go on) and because I belive he knows SG7 well enough and plays well enough to have the idea to pretty much frame SG7, and I would normally vote SG7 because he would be ingenious enough to make these rules and say its obviously a frame, but I guess Im just trying to get the day started on a serious path cause we are going to have to have alot of patience and will power to figure out the mod... Too long of a post for day one? I DONT THINK SO! And IDK any MLP characters, so Im just gonna look up a list and say the first one... applejack.

Apple jack daniels! I'm really concerned about the modkill potential here, clever could have been modkilled, jak could have been modkilled for 2 reasons, and I'm really unsure about which references are acceptable/not enough.

On the other hand, this also sets up an interesting WIFOM situation. I see being mod as having 3 different broad possibilities for PR/flavor restrictions.

1. Use a general restriction: Probably so it makes it harder to guess who it is.

2. Use something somebody else is known for: MLP being an example, but maybe something along the lines of Big Lebowski quotes if tails was the mod or maybe Toy Story references if Rodion was the mod. Maybe even reference a recent game they modded or something.

3. Use something you yourself are known for: A pretty heavy WIFOM where you use your own little theme.

In conclusion, since word of god says shield didn't come up with this, we can probably say one of a few people would be more likely to come up with it, but it doesn't mean that they're the only people. After all, shield's little trademark is well known to most of us. I half expected the PR to force us all to say Ishicastr at the end of our posts or something.

I think edoc just made up a PR about pirate talking to give to himself, it is the best way to divert peoples attention and make you look like an innocent pony. The mod wouldn't have specific restrictions.. so why not talk like he does? unsunshine sunshine edoc

Not a problem NG1,only one other person here could look through my clans forums and verify that I use the codes on maps because I cant tell the colors and cant see the yellow from nuetrals, not a big fan of the maps with multiple color backgrounds for the same reason,I usually just guard the borders in team games I have to play in.

So with that,my posts for once will be more limited than usual MLP

That sounds like an excuse concocted by THE MOD. What a great alibi, I wouldn't make it purple/green as I am colorblind, so I can't be the mod. Now I guess I have to lurk more than normal.

Another batch of answers I am requested to post.

"EBWOP" does not negate a post, once a rule is broken you can be modkilled.
Modkills do not end the day, any number of players can be modkilled during a day.

Okay, my first response on reading the rules were, "screw that, I'm not going to post anything with these %#$!% rules. But after reading a few posts, I've changed my mind...let's just have fun with this Froot Loops. After wiki-ing MLP, I'm shocked at the number of ponies in this show. I think for now, my favorite is DJ Pon 3.

Also, could the ACTUAL REAL MOD (/?) please post a link on the 1st rules thread to the new rules for each day? This is going to get confusing as hell the further along we get and the more active we get. I don't want to get mod-killed because I couldn't find the dam rules. Thank you,

First of all, it's safer for us to use the color I'm using. We are already going to lose Jak and Clever and we don't need more townies dying on a technicality ("this is actually violet, not purple!"). I got this color by writing color=purple inside brackets and then /color in the end, also inside brackets.
