Don't take jonty's word for it. He could just be trying to sway the Governor that may or may not be in this game.

I home. I am fried. Taking my turns wasn't pretty, a scene would be even worse.

The much awaited scene, pardon the delay.

Izanagi and Izanami, Father of the land and Goddess of Creation. The other gods at the council recognized the two. How could they not? Many of them were the sons and daughters of the two deities.

The more the other gods thought about this the less sense this made. They had heard rumors of Izanami's death, so how was it Izanami Izanami was here? Perhaps she was undead? Or were the rumors false?

There was only one way to find out for sure, and the vote was nearly unanimous and Izanami was cast from the heavens.

Unable to be separated from his wife and stricken by grief Izanagi followed his lover into Yomi, life without his Goddess was a life not worth living.

The night was chaos. Still unsettled from the deaths of the lovers that evening few could sleep well this night.

A arrow flew through the night and nicked a man wandering, a man searching. It was a glancing strike and flew far off into the darkness, a wound easily ignored by the god. Little did he know his fate was already sealed, impossible to see in the dark, poison slowly seeping from the arrow embedded in the ground.

Insidious words were spoken, pacts were made and knives were sharpened. Dawn was coming when the screams pieced the night. The god died in agony as the poison reached his heart.

Dawn broke and someone emerged from a nearby cave carrying another in his arms. He blinked slowly, the dark of Yomi was a far deeper blackness then that of the natural night. Carefully he put down his burden and together they walked back into the light.

My guess would be a serial killer and a cult. On that note fos thegeneral simply because if there is a cult recruiter as it appears the town cop would be near the top of my list to recruit.

@victor: I don't know what you expect. My reasoning was mostly flavor spec and like a couple others I didn't quite believe that two town lovers would be in the game. I did not feel that line of reasoning needed to be restated.

I think we can safely assume everywhere was recruited last night. TheGeneral didn't claim until Day 2, yes? I don't quite remember. I should probably check.

That depends. A claimed town cop would probably lose their powers after they got recruited, so it would be a high risk recruitment as the cop would have to fake investigations.

I'm assuming we have a reviver. Could be Sker of some sort.

Either way I'm not gonna push a case on the cop on the principle that he COULD have been recruited. Just putting it forward. Also a recruited cult is the lowest on my rung to lynch. Much rather find the killer (assuming there is one) and the recruiter.

I'm back to life and feel strike is slightly suspicious but it's only a gut feeling.
