I like a lot of the new music coming out, particularly r'n'b, but I'll tell you one thing right now:

I'M SICK OF AKON!!!

That nasal whine is EVERYWHERE now, and it's driving me insane! *puke*

That one is not so bad because I love Bone Thugs. I didn't mind Akon when he started out, but it's just getting ridiculous now. He's practically on every radio station here.

Those are some nice songs you listed there.

Maybe my favorite new album (its already a couple of months old now) is Of Montreal's "Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer?". My favorite songs from it are "Cato as a Pun" and "Bunny Ain't No Kind of Rider".

It's better than it might seem.

The new Psyopus CD is fucking crazy.
Same with the new Beneath the Massacre album.
Emmure's new debut CD kills shit.

Job for a Cowboy's CD comes out in about a month, should be sick

Definitely, I loved the Cheers album!

"The Setup" was (and still is) one of my favourite tracks.

No I haven't. I was thinking just the other day that he'd been a bit quiet for the past couple of years. Not that I subscribe to The Source to keep up with things or anything.

Nice, I might have to get that one. But if it's not quite as good as Cheers then I might not get it. I'll wait for the lead tracks to get some airtime on the radio here and if I like them, then I won't download them - I'll go cop that disc 8-[

I like the blue scholars. A little hokey "music of revolution" but it's good.

The album has been out for a while and I haven't heard any on the radio, so you might have to find another way to listen to it.
