Medal Question

Postby hoytdwow on Mon Nov 28, 2011 10:13 am

So, the medals are each different, but the ribbon is the same for each one? Why is this?
The ribbons should be different for each medal, as they are for actual medals.

While the ribbon is the same, the design and color I think is enough to differentiate between medals. While in reality, medals may have different ribbons, we've always substituted our own reality for graphics and icons---our Ranks are also a good example of this! :D

obviously you are correct if this would be a military style organization AND the 3 different ribbons would not signify anything. However, the ribbon denoted the level; bronze, silver, gold
This is deemed more significant then a different ribbon for each level and each medal. (on the reality check, making 3 pics or 3 times for each medal.. you do the math)

other then that, well spotted.

typical cc mod non-answers

... because then they would be insignias, not medals. And who wants to collect insignias??

I'm not sure how SirSebstar or myself didn't answer the question. We explained the rationale behind the way the graphics are!

eh. try to look again at someone who has the bronze silver and gold medals. you will see a different pattern for each class(B/S/G) of medal
and a different color depending on the freemium or premium status.

hoytdwow- who create medals he its volontaire job,he dont pay for these. And who will be crazy to create all diferent ribbons for each lvl of medal. Lack get money, and creator of medals get nothing. Now you can do these math, and will see why you have one collor ribbon. Many things can be done if you open your pocket and pay. If you want that these job be finish fas,pay extra, if you dont ,then you get some product who are not entirely completed, but its enough to customers be satisfy.

White Buffalo wrote:In the real world the whole medal is not always worn because they are heavy and become cumbersome. Usually just the ribbon is worn and so making them different allows others to know what medals have been awarded.
Hope that helps

i can fit more medals on my screen so there is no need for them to have different ribbons.
