Blake, I don't believe a word of your defense. I just want one of these unclaimed players to counterclaim you first though before I add my vote. Something tells me they will.

Who do you think is going to make this counter-claim? Of the five unclaimed players which could actually make that counter? It's not you, it's not me, pretty sure it is not Drunkmonkey, that just leaves Drake and Pancakemix. Drake has now posted after you made this post and made no indication that he would be counter claiming. Now, he could be a real doctor and just not have mentioned it, we won't know unless we specifically ask him I guess. Pancakemix hasn't had a chance to properly respond to any of this yet, so we just need to wait and see if he comes up with a counter we he gets around to it, but I don't really think he is a doctor...

Well, the whole situation surrounding blake is rather scummy. And despite zimmah's eccentricities, I agree with him that the "I thought I was dead" claim is complete BS. I figured that must mean he was lying, and there would be a counterclaim. If there isn't, I still wouldn't say he is townie, but I might not advocate his lynch right away.

On a related note, did anyone get blocked last night? Since apparently in this game you are informed of when you are blocked no matter what role you have, I think it is safe and won't reveal anything bad if everyone comes out and tells us when they where blocked throughout the game. It should help me put this puzzle together.

Anyhow, I am still looking to complete this goal today. I assume that Zimmah, BGtheBrain, Safariguy, Jonty, and Blakebowling haven't been blocked last night based on what they describe their actions as If Mr. Squirrel, Newguy, and Drunkmonkey could confirm one way or the other that would be good. Then I just need Drake and Pancakemix to get a chance to respond to that post. With any luck, these last few data points will be enough to give me all the information that I need to send this game into the final stages.

you have never provided us with any information at all, and you ask for other peoples statements? even while being basicly at the bottom of the list yourself?

Well I personally don't mind if spiesr wants to do a little digging. After all, I've already claimed and declared my actions, there's nothing left I can offer as information. Besides, don't you care about the unclaimed players? Assuming the claimed players are all telling the truth, this potentially narrows down the list. If spiesr wants to have a shot at finding mafia, I'm all for it. Proactive scum hunting is better than just sitting around and taking random shots in the dark with no evidence. Love the enthusiasm zimmah, but accusing all the unclaimed people as being mafia doesn't really help much, especially since we still have many roles out there that haven't been 100% confirmed.

Not necessarily, with 1 SKer and it being a NV game, mafia could be only 3-4 total. The extra killing roles make a mafia victory easier if there are more of them as statistically, the SKer will kill town more than he will mafia. Which pushes mafia endgame much faster if there are like 5 of them alive.

I agree, but I think we have enough time to talk it out some. I'd like to hear spiesr's theory too. If we don't come up with anything promising, I'm willing to drop the hammer. I still would prefer to pressure drake personally, I just feel that the balance makes sense and I haven't heard any counterclaims.

I agree, but I think we have enough time to talk it out some. I'd like to hear spiesr's theory too. If we don't come up with anything promising, I'm willing to drop the hammer. I still would prefer to pressure drake personally, I just feel that the balance makes sense and I haven't heard any counterclaims.

I agree that we still have time to talk it out and I would also be willing to drop the hammer. I wanna hear what spiesr has to say too. I also agree that its strange that there hasn't been a counterclaim, but I still can't see him telling the truth. The circumstances surrounding all of his posts are just too scummy to ignore.

I don't understand what you want me to post. I've told you the truth about everything, either you believe me (or you know lynching a doc would be horrible for town), or you lynch me today. I'm more than willing to answer questions, but I am the doc. I just don't know how I can verify that today.

I disagree with the premise that lynching you would be "horrible for town", given that even if you're telling the truth, you've been completely useless for 2 nights now.

However, I mentioned earlier that I think drake is scum too, and presented my case. He refused to tell us why flores (whom he replaced) visited Victor on N1. If blake is telling the truth, and he protected Victor, it gives a reason why there was no N1 mafia kill. If blake's lying, it still doesn't clear drake.

Our two top options right now are:
1) blake - bad alibi, but it is an alibi
2) drake - refusal to comment on N1 actions

Spiesr and pcm are also near the top of my list. Spiesr keeps asking for info, claiming to be close to piecing the puzzle together, but hasn't let us in on any of his information. Pcm has been oddly silent since the blake case started, and is one of the few who still hasn't claimed.

I honestly would rather pressure drake at this point, and either get more on blake overnight or pick it up again tomorrow.

Ok, see, now we're getting somewhere. Just waiting for the counterclaim on blake. We'll find out soon enough whether blake is telling the truth or not, but drake seems much more logical in his night action choices.

Probably thought it was a scum tactic to draw out the real doc. It's ok though, with 2 protective roles still alive, I'll be able to protect the doc for at least 1 night while the doc saves someone else. He's more useful than I am anyways.
