In Kansas, for instance, anytime you are in an accident, you must file with your own insurance company, not with the person at fault... It sucks, but it's true...

Man, in that case you're home and dry! I mean, your parents might be pretty pissed an accident happened and all; but the money for paying it shouldn't be a problem. Your friend's insurance pays in the worst case, otherwise Senior Uglychops has to foot the bill. Who knows, maybe you can get the upholstery changed while you're getting the repairs and try to sneak that cost onto the bill, then you'd be laughing...

nah that doesnt happen here, im just suppose to get his information and go to court or something, gonna have to drag my friend along too because of course i wasnt there to see anything but being that its my car im going to have to attend this long and painful hearing...(I Think thats how it goes, first time this ever happen)

Oh i know hes insured otherwise he wont have a licence but what my state does if its not your car then the options are revoke of licence until your 21 or jail

Car runs fine, i checked it out, damage is not too serious, the left light is buest and the bottom bumper on the left is hanging and is dangerously close to my tires so i have to avoid speed bumps

I dont know the whole story behind the accident so it may be my friend that is at fault, he said he was driving safley but since it wasnt his car the cops said anything he was telling them was Null and Useless
