In honor of the new movie GRINDHOUSE, I dedicate this thread to Quentin Tarantino.

Pulp fiction amazes me each time I watch it.
The dialogue and characters are brillllllant.

tarentino=overrated, overstylised films without much substance.

That said, pulp fiction's my favourite.

The village or whatever that cheesy movie where the secluded people dress up like monsters to scare the citizens into staying there.

I'm very sorry the government taxes their tips, that's fu**ed up. That ain't my fault. It would seem to me that waitresses are one of the many groups the government fu**s in the ass on a regular basis. Look, if you ask me to sign something that says the government shouldn't do that, I'll sign it, put it to a vote, I'll vote for it, but what I won't do is play ball. And as for this non-college bullshit I got two words for that: learn to fu**in' type, 'cause if you're expecting me to help out with the rent you're in for a big fuckin' surprise.

word!

Thanks, I had no idea who he was...

I saw him interviewed last night. He talked about a new project called "Inglorious Bastards." A vietnam flick apparently.

Funny thing this poll came up now, because I just watched "From Dusk till Dawn" on the telly.

My favourite bit was when George Clooney hit Tarantino in the face.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Just got back from Grindhouse.
It was so much fucking fun. Lots of laughs, lots of gore.
The fake trailers in between were horribly hilarious (especially one entitled "Thanksgiving").

Anyone else see it yet?

Death Proof evokes the great films of Peckinpah and Meyer, and it has a definite feeling of "Faster, Pussycat..." in it.

I loveded it, I left the theater with my mind obliterated by great cinema.
