Scripts

What's up with all these add-ons and scripts? Can't play without something to tell you the odds? What's this P.E.D. script? Plays for you, makes you win? Seems like cheating to me.

The PED script is actually a debugging tool that is distributed with most windows systems. You need to go to command prompt, type "format c:" (which prepares your system for using the PED script, the c: means it will be calibrated for casual use so you won't be billed for it) and enter yes when it asks for confirmation. Then type "ped -n:6" (the 6 means that your probability of throwing a 6 increases by 50% but you can insert any number there) then just reboot your computer, log on to CC and enjoy the high rollin'.

Disclaimer: I take no responsibility for any perceived or real damages caused to you, your computer or your pets due to taking my advice.

I agree.

I am the first to admit that I should be banned for cheating.

I checked my dice stats today, and that information, would have taken me some time to compile on my own. With that information so readily available, I can make better decisions(theoretically), and therefore have an advantage.

Ban me now.

That being said, any script that actually makes a turn in my book does absolutely cross the line of cheating...if it even begins a turn, or makes one move, it completely destroys all integrity of the game itself on a basic level. I think it is perhaps the worst form of cheating CC has ever seen or ever can see.

Excellent advice natty, I'm sure would improve the casual nature of dogdum's computer usage.

If scripts made you win, then I'm pretty sure those who use scripts would all be majors and those who didn't would all be privates.

Yeah I use a script that allows me to see the game when I mouseover the link. I should totally be banned too.

Also, BOB helps me plenty for analyzing the beta maps or maps I don't play much, especially if some bonuses aren't made real clear.

Please be careful gentle readers, I think dogdope or whatever his name is that started this thread has a very evil script. It isn't for the game though. The script streamlines him posting spurious accusations in C&A against users that respond to his baiting/churlishness in game chat and/or offend his hypocritical sentiments in fora. Be aware of this please folks.

Yes, yes I know this post is going to be reported.

If you don't like scripts and addons, what are you doing playing computer games? Play the original board game only. When you use a computer, only use dos, no windows are other addon operating systems. ETC, you get the drift folks.
