Or maybe she was just voting you for the sake of voting you. It seems pretty clear that the vote isn't very serious as no one would really consider prodding inactives as scummy. Defensive are we?

Possibly squirrel but it sounnded like a serious comment to me. I don't think it's really been vio's MO to joke vote in that manner and it was at the very least not just safari who seemed to think it was serious and we still don't know because vio hasn't really explained it herself.

Very true. The case on commander did get somewhat swallowed up with the continuation of joke voting.

It depends on how you view Vio's vote on me. Personally, I was being serious with my vote on F1fth, but I'm not sure whether she was joking or not. If she wasn't joking, then I'm interested in a real reason and not some "inactive pressuring" excuse.

Where as com9 will post adn get us all an answer pretty quickly it may take some tome before we hear back from Vio. But ya, it's a bit out of place so soon in the game.

Well I am interested in both really. Commander's overreaction was bigger and seemed more out of place but vio's was against something that she should know is standard practice from safari and Mr. Squirrel tried to have it dismissed as a joke when no one else suspects that's the case and say that safari overreacted in a situation where that does not seem to be the case at all. Even so it is a weak connection and hardly condemning for either vio or squirrel if the other turns up scum so I am leaning towards pressuring commander and my vote will stay on him.

Not quite sure what you expect to hear from me. I have already said that it was an overreaction due to me miscalculating my votes - there's nothing more. I will also fully say that I do intend to claiming that I will not die from a lynch.

While the overreaction was... well, an overreaction, I don't think that it was outside of Commie's MO. He's always cautious against the speedy joke bandwagons that end in a hammer (which I've never seen). I think some of y'all are trying too hard to latch onto that as a means to progress the game. So I have no suspicions of Commie so far.

The suspicions of Vio's actions, on the other hand, may have some merit. I'll look into it again.

To be honest, I see no reason to drop the commander line just because he is saying he does not die from a lynch. Given that this is a game with a high number of non vanilla roles, there is no reason to simply push him to the background because he claims a power that could appear in the game.

While I do not think we need to advocate testing this power claim as option a, it should seriously be considered as a backup plan if we are not near a consensus before the deadline.

I'm not seeing Com9's behavior as out of the ordinary. Usually he get's quite talkative and accusatory early on (see POTC). Not too out of character here. I think Vio needs to come and explain whether that was meant as a jokevote or not, it seems to be the best case to me right now.

I don't see why it seems so improbable to you that he gets that interpretation. He attempted to clarify his post by making it and he will not die from being lynched...that still kind of sounds like an unlynchable claim.

Perhaps I m reading it wrong, but to me that is a statement of fact from him, not a soft claim. I can say right now that I will not die due lynching today. Doesn't mean I am unlynchable, it means that it thinks I can work my way out of any problem that may occur in the next 24 hrs. I took it as a statement of solid town power, a role that would be assumed to be in the game if forced to claim ie, cop/doc. I feel like others should have noticed the soft suggestion of Com's, and I feel that GT is digging into town power in an effort to expose our valuable roles.

In that vein I will UNVOTE VOTE GT, we have 24 hrs to find a lynch and he is the one I am most comfortable hanging.
