Very scummy play here. Bandwagon to get an easy lynch of town. State uncertainty to distance yourself from the main bandwagoners, preventing you from facing a lot of backlash from a town flip.

If I could, I would vote Shield.
Yeah seriously, that's the ultimate waffling statement. And a more inactive player? Would you like to offer up an example shield?

Nice "Why vote him, but I'll vote him anyway."
Yes. The lack of logic in Shield's vote is assounding.
I have to say I believe Violet. Looking at what / has done it does fit well into the roles that he's given out. Likely if she is lying it was a fake claim that / gave out of the scum. Honestly I have to say I would have done the same as Violet on Night 1. I don't like blocking or killing random people, as both have a larger chance of hitting town. So I can believe why she wouldn't want to use her power.
The only thing is at this point it does not seem we have firm leads. I'm starting to get some scummy vibes from Shield though...
Maybe Fir is an inactive shield was talking about. Been posting in all of the other mafia games and ignoring this one. His last post in here was 6 days ago:
Fircoal wrote:I haven't been here and I really need to read up but I think some input is gonna be better than none, so let me start from here. I don't see why we wouldn't use the daykill. If we use it like a lynch it'll end up basically being another lynch. We could have day kill vote counts, and majority wins scenario and all of that. I don't see the problem.
In between those 2 posts he managed to post 107 posts in other places. Maybe he's got a PR that only let's him post once a week while providing little info...
I don't see what the problem with my last vote was. And tails has a bandwagon? I didn't catch that. My reason for voting him was to apply some pressure on him so he would get in here and be a little more active. I was thinking it might be a good way to increase activity in this game. Tails has not posted yet, so my vote remains.

Skimming = scum tell
You don't see the problem with saying we shouldn't vote someone and then voting them? It suggests that you want to distance yourself from the lynch while still voting. Major scum tell because scum wants to lynch town but doesn't want the backlash from it
I support a daykill of shield. I doubt that we will reach enough votes for a lynch.

Yeah, we're getting a bit close to deadline here. I'll give it another 12 hours or so, then send in the PM if we have enough support.
Ok, I will explain my reasoning. I was stating why I did not want tails killed or lynched, but my vote on him was an attempt to prod him to be more active in the game. And does this mean I should claim?

Well, you're under the gun as far as us getting a lynch today, so I think so. Given deadline coming up and such.

Believable, but why not state this to begin with? You've played enough games with some of us lynch happy psychos to know better

I should have known.
Anyway, here's my claim: I am the bar tender. I can listen in on anyone's conversation at night, provided that my target has posted in the thread at night. I investigated saf last night and I got a town read. I also have a one shot pistol kill. And that is all.

How did you get a town read? I don't understand how that would work exactly. How do you know he was just scum that wasn't talking at night?
Also, I don't buy the thing about pressure. Tails already had enough pressure on him without pushing him even closer to a lynch, and pressuring an inactive doesn't exactly work because they aren't there.

Explain this better please.
What does it mean to "listen in on someone's conversation" ?

I'm a bit skeptical of this claim as well. I have no night actions nor am I masoned with anyone. And there were several people who posted during night, yet shield picked me to listen to even though I wasn't the first one to post. That and I'm one of the few people claimed, and having an "investigation" on me that turns up town is a pretty safe thing to say since most people think I'm town at this point.
Shield was scummy when he voted for tails. I don't think the vote was scummy, just the way he did it. That said, I think his claim is very believable.
Haggis seems the most scummy to me. Iliad is second.
Evil seems the most likely to try to start a bandwagon on someone. He's jumping on everything everyone says, so watch out. I don't think that necessarily means he's scum or town, but he's on the attack.
Saf has the power to DK and there has been a DK on days 1 and 2 and not yet on day 3. Even though I think he's got a good claim, this is suspicious.

Um, it's only Day 2, where is this Day 3 stuff coming from?

Wow, I really got to you, huh
Shield's mistake is understandable, and it does seems like he doesn't support the lynch but feels to compelled to follow others. Probably should've been more clear that he only wanted to place pressure.
I still think Vio is pretty scummy. She only claimed a joat, had to change her story, and her role seems quite underpowered compared to the actual joat where most roles are more powerful. Would that I could, I would vote her but I still propose daykilling Vio. It would also show us via scene flavour whether saf is the daykiller. If there is a daykiller I'm presuming non-town so it seems strange that we haven't got a hit yet. Either waiting for good opportunity, inactive, was a one-shot or is actually saf.

You just described scumhunting. I'm trying very hard to find any good leads because I really don't want a no lynch today. Two no lynches in a row is not good for town. It lets scum take free shots at townies during the night while giving town no information at all. Lynching someone (even if we get it wrong once and hit a townie by mistake) gives us info to work off of the next day.
If it's scum, who was their friends? Who did they vote for? Was there anyone who obviously was distancing themselves from the dead scum? etc.
If it's town, who bandwagoned onto them? Did anyone vote for them with little reason? Did anyone change from one case to the more popular case with little reason? etc.
No lynching = no information. It isn't what town needs right now at all.
Also, where did Tal go? He isn't as inactive as some, but it seems that his activity went way down from what it used to be. He used to be the face of this game. Also, his PR amused me. (not calling him scummy, just wondering where he went)

I guess it's coming from me being retarded. We've had DK's on 1 and 2, so ignore what I said about saf. I can't count very well, that's why I can't make it as a gambler.
Final Vote Count or is it? safariguy5 (1) - VioIet DoomYoshi (1) - shieldgenerator7 (didn't unvote) VioIet (2) - ShaggyDan, Haggis_McMutton
With 16 alive it takes 6 to lynch
Day Two Paranoia, desperate paranoia, the luxury thus unseen by the world has become their worst nightmare. The warm red sun had suddenly become the face of Satan in their eyes, glaring to cast their fates in the vermilion glow of blood. Many had frivolously gambled away their rights on the Unpredictable Turn of a wheel. they decided someone had to die...
At the bar drinks were served to calm everyone down, but the server himself became agitated, "you people are going to kill me I know it..." his eyes darted back and forth, they were met with reasonable apprehension "Stay back!" he shouted as he pulled a shotgun from under the counter. A female tried to talk him down "Please signore, calm down, no one else has to die!" he replied "I think someone does..." he fired at her. his shot spent the wrestled him to the ground and took away his gun, the woman lay dying "Hurry call a medic!" they clamored, but tit was too late, she was already there, and already dead.
Just then one of the men who had tackled the man grabbed at his throat "Wha- what is this?" he said as he stumbled to the ground, the poison in his drink worked fast, even the most dexterous man was left a stumbling wreck before his death...
leaving one vote, but that's all it takes to potentially kill DoomYoshi (1) - shieldgenerator7
Will the new replacement survive? yes.
so ends the day, the people still no closer to discovering the truth behind the plot. Night 2 Begins, send in your actions, you have until Monday night

Ya, been really busy the last week and a half with interviews for a few companies. Been flying all over trying to land a new job I want sorry for the submarining and lack of self imposed PR's. I promise to be back to it tonight. Back home for the weekend, thanks god!
After a long night it was time for rest, but on man refused to sleep, he appeared to be sitting quietly, but had little other choice but to do so, he used surveillance equipment from the confines of his wheelchair to listen in outside his window. From the adjacent window the balcony was scaled by a mysterious assailant, he walked into the room to take out the old man, but unexpectedly the elder of the two was prepared, he pointed a revolver at the intruder and demanded he leave "Get out, you aren't the first I've killed in my life, but I'll let you leave the way you came in." The other killer was enraged "Don't think you are better at this than I sir!" he lunged at him and the trigger clicked.
Nothing The veteran sighed, "Damn! I can't remember anything these days." he looked to his side at an old army photo and spoke to it "Looks like I'll be joining our squad again..." "Well, I'll admit, you gave me a start, I'll return the favor, you can be the one to go the way I came." The intruder quickly pushed the man with enough momentum to send him off the balcony.
Elsewhere the down and out gambler was looking around, he lost big last night and needed some cash to get him started again, he walked from place to place asking for a quick loan, explaining he could pay it pack soon, but was turned down, it was then he heard a voice, "Hey! Come over here, I have a bet to make you.". It came from the beach off to the side, the lucky man was wary, but as his name and profession implied, he isn't one to turn down an opportunity. He looked around the dark beach and saw no one, as he turned to leave he felt a sharp pain in his back, he quickly jerked back and collapsed, hovering over him was a man dressed in black robes, he gasped and choked but no words would come, he was forced to listen instead. "You see my friend... I was sent to kill you, but that, like your pathetic need for money that will leave your hands tomorrow anyways, is meaningless in this world." the robed man started to walk away as he talked "If you want a meaningful bet, one that will change things, I bet you that you will not be able to leave this beach before the tide comes in, the stakes are your life."
