I'm not begging for anything. I warned you guys that there was a cult day 1, and nobody believed me. Now I'm telling the truth and again nobody believes me.

Guess it makes you 0-2 then.

It was based on the exact words "...also I've heard reports of another group, but nothing too big, we'll crush them easily." You had no more information than the rest of us could glean from that day scene, so the only way you can claim that you are justified in your moral high ground is if you've been cult from Day 1. You're either lucky or cult, but you're not a great prophet.

We went over that on Day 1 and also on Day 2 I think. If you really thought it was a slip up, you should have said something. The mod obviously gave hints in his scenes, and the fact that he gave us a day scene for Day 1 meant that we had extra information to go on. It's not my fault that nobody else read the scene closely and seemingly failed to notice that.

Everything else in the scene has been true so far (Lack and Sax mafia), so was it really that big of a stretch to think that cult was possible there?

It could have been a number of things, yet you jumped to one specific thing far before there was any real way for us to determine what the threats were. It may not be your fault that most people didn't "observe" what you seemed to observe, but it is now your problem and you're not doing a good job defending yourself. Saying "I was right about the cult" doesn't actually mean anything, you know that, right? It was either simply a guess based on your prior mafia experience that turned out correct, or a hint of you having knowledge of the cult from your role. In either case, you are not especially valuable to the town simply because of that fact.

Yes, i am afraid I will be recruited tonight. PCM, if you are town, do NOT busdrive me tonight. I have some thoughts about what might happen tonight and based on those thoughts (which would be too valuable for cult to know right now, so I'm not telling as of yet), it is more beneficial for PCM to not busdrive me tonight. However, if saf really is the recruiter then we don't have to worry about that tonight.
But I really think saf is the recruiter so I guess we shouldn't have to worry about that.
Yes, I do think Rodion is a good choice for my vig kill tonight. Mr. Squirrel, don't target Rodion tongiht. He's mine. I'd hate to see you waste your NK on my target.

@saf, yes, it is very WIFOMy that you pointed out cult first thing. Meta-gaming here, but it seems that players generally flavor spec on the role that they are so that they cna make it appear that they know what they know based on flavor spec rather than role PM, so they can hide their true identity. My guess is you felt you would be safer if you took note about cult at the beginning so you could say, "I warned you about it since the beginning, hence I am not cult." and such. So it makes sense that you would be cult, but like I said that may be a bit WIFOM, but still an appropriate and possible strategy for playing as a cult.

I'm trying to defend myself, but everyone apparently has already made up their minds. I've claimed, and at this point there's nothing more I can say that everyone hasn't heard already before.

Just to clarify a few rules.

- If a recruiter tries to recruit a Mafia the recruiter has a 50% Chance of dying, as well as the recruit failing.
- If it gets to 1v1 there will be a coin flip / random org and whoever wins will get their choice of lynch (which is how it was done in Squirrels Game)

If anyone wants anything else clarified then pm me please.

He can't be scum. The day 4 lynch scene says that yoshi was the "last freedom fighter". And I highly doubt town got two vigs plus a Dayvig, plus a JOAT vig. That is far too overpowered. Besides the claim, he seemed overeager to nominate himself to hammer saf. Offering himself up to the possibility of a bomb kill so willingly makes me think he knows something we don't.

Yeah I know something you don't. I know I'm town vig, but how are you supposed to know that?
Remember, that dayvig could have gone either way. He could have been recruited by either faction, so really town got lucky that he got recruited by the town hunter. And the JOAT vig is a 1-time use only. So I don't see the problem with having another town vig. If you think there was a balance issue, then maybe Sax compensated by overpowering mafia and cult. Mafia had 2 godfather roles, plus a hunter and a chatter (anyone can see this, I know this because it was revealed, not just because of my previous life as GF). So yeah, maybe Sax put the extra vig in there to balance out the cult and mafia factions. I don't know anything about cult, but they probably have something like keeping their abilities even though recruited, IDK. It's too bad AoG was inactive this game and so didn't get any kills in.
So yeah, I don't see the problem with having a town dayvig, vig, and JOAT vig.

I "offered myself so willingly" to hammer saf because I don't believe that he really is town bomb. With Rodion making all these recruiting deals and saf claiming town bomb, it would make sense that the cult recrutier would be saf because then they can distract town from lynching the real recruiter. This makes me wonder as to whether cult have the communication ability, and can talk amongst each other during the day (Mafia had this ability- I hope this was already spilled), but since Rodion posted that secret message, I doubt it, and the plan must have been revealed in that post, the plan that Rodion and saf are most likely carrying out now.
Speaking of saf, we need all the town players to come in here and vote for him, cause the cult probably isn't going to. That is, if we all agree that he is the cult recruiter. And if he is the town bomb / cult bomb like he says he is, then my hammer will prove to everyone that I was indeed the town vig, but then I would be useless to town. Oh well. I think town can win without my vig ability.

So yeah, good job for pointing that out Mr. Squirrel. Glad to know someone is paying attention.

Mafia Godfather (3) can't win with the town. And being alone, he can't really win by himself. His only chance is getting recruited by the cult.

The 50/50 part is tricky, but a cult that has a bus driver can swap the recruiter with someone else, so if the recruitment on the mafia fails, the death is redirected into someone other than the recruiter, giving us another chance to recruit the mafia godfather on the next day. And on and on and on.

That means the mafia godfather has to use his kills smartly, so he doesn't hits the recruiter by accident.

Here's the situation:

PCM is recruited and Mafia NK goes on Commander. PCM has to accept the recruitment (or deflect it to continue as a town, but he'll have lost the strongest townie, so at this point there is 0 reason for him to try the deflection). That means PCM will join us and Commander will die. PCM has no reason to swap Commander and save him because PCM will be a cultie and have 0 interest in preserving town power roles.

We enter D6 with 3 townies, 5 culties and 1 mafia member. Lynch one townie for good measure and try to recruit the godfather (with the swap to protect the recruiter in case he loses the coin toss).If we recruit the godafther, endgame. If we don't, one more townie died because of PCM's redirection and we go to D7. We can no lynch and try the conversion again in N7. If it fails, one more townie dies and we can keep trying until we lose all but 2 culties (then we lynch mafia, IF that happens). Odds of godfather losing this way is:
6.25% (1 in 16) or 3.125% (1 in 32).

All we have to do is make sure the mafia NK goes on Commander. It's a win-win for the involved parties.

I already explained exactly how that should happen, should someone from the mafia, whoever that is, decide to contribute. How can you "guarantee" that it is just manipulation?

How is Shield (or whoever) going to trust someone that has just dug as low as threatening to lose respect for a friend because of a game? :shock:

If you believe you are town and you believe there is a mafia with a NK that you'd like to use in your favour, shouldn't you try to offer the mafia something? You can't, really, because you can NEVER have the same WC. The cult can, however, help the mafia.

About PCM, he's not really betraying you as much as he got his hands tied. We're recruiting someone tonight to win with the cult, might as well be him, no?
