Hmm, not too helpful. Gonna try to improve on that a little.

1.) I know some addons use that tactic to show either games in which chat is ready or number of games ready. It might have been a suggestion, but I haven't seen it at least.

2.) Yes, it was suggested. But turned down for the reason IcePack mentioned.

3.) Just check the scoreboard to see how many premium players there are. It's quite a lot, though some people might have won theirs through tournaments or other contests.

4.) It will depend on the rule, but I don't think I've ever seen a case where that happened. Small offenses won't have that at least.

About the amount of premiums. The only one who can tell is the owner of the site. I do not think he would make the exact numbers public, but to get a good gauge, you can indeed look at the scoreboard. The only people there are those who have played a game in the last 30 days. You can look for the golden (premium) vs sivel (freemium) players and make your own calculation. There will be some players who have premium but do not play(in the last 30 days), or are currently serving a forum/website vacation, so its not 100% accurate, but close enough i think.

There is a fairly involved community of developers here that work on Greasemonkey scripts. These are basically just scripts you can install in your browser that provide additional functionality above what the site offers by itself. You can go to the Tools and Enhancements forum to browse the full list, if you are interested. Specifically addressing your question, one of the scripts is the Ready Turns script, which will give you a line indicating how many turns you are up for.

i talked to a gy who said he could change his ip and make a new account when he got banned for multi accounts. i uinderstood it he could switch it at will, .... which made me asume proxys. what was he using then?

Changing his actual IP is different from using a proxy, if I'm understanding you right. A proxy is sort of like a mask, whereas changing your IP is like getting botox. You're not covering something up, you change it from the base (might want to double check that, I haven't gotten into networking much).

i use it to watch BBC online. I am not english so its closed for me. Same with USA sites, that are often closed to EU persons. I use a proxie to simulate I am using an american IP

i was told before if i disconnect my router for a night i would likely recieve a new ip. does this mean a random person could get my old ip. seems unfair as if i got banned and then somebody else using the same ip tried to join...
i want to learn about this shit. might take up a computer course next year or get a good book on it.

Your ip is assigned to your box by your ISP. The only thing that might change is the last digit which identifies which machine is logged into your router.

There are those who only play games in the past 30 days. You can look for gold VS sivel players and make their own calculations. Some players will have a premium, but who do not fight, or are serving sentences Forum / Website vacation, so it is not 100% accurate, but close enough I think.
