Coordinating team attacks in Freestlye

Hi everyone:

Something I saw recently in a post by a freestyler concerning coordinated freestyle attacks... Is it legal to notice all your teammates online in a team freestyle game, PM/chat them and all start their turn at the same time and coordinate a massive attack? Further, is it considered abuse of the game to do this multiple times? Also, are you allowed to talk to the in RL and have them get on to take a turn together?

I'm pretty sure it's legal, as it isn't breaking any rules. I know quite a few people who do this in freestyle, including playing while keeping their teammates on the phone and coordinating attacks. In fact, most of the best freestyle teams out there end up playing in sync and coordinating their attacks.

Quite the opposite, many freestyle players (like myself) do this. It's a tactical thing, to be able to attack and deploy on teammates as needed. If you don't think you can get your team to coordinate with you, then it might not be beneficial for you to play freestyle. You are allowed to talk to your teammates in RL, this is not secret diplomacy, as you wouldn't want your opponent to see it, anyway. The only time Secret Diplomacy is, indeed, Secret Diplomacy, is when players who aren't on the same team coordinate with others outside of the game chat to gain a tactical advantage over other players in the game without the other players knowing.

With teamgames this is legal.With teammates this is a must. In sequential but also in freestyle. I phone my partner to make the most of the moves. 2 minds see more then 1.
This is ILLEGAL with non-teamgames, aka your regular game with alliances.
