I reiterate, a simple solution, just tell us we can't do it anymore. It's the best solution to the problem. The hunters are very good at what they do, they can enforce it enough to keep people honest.

That's not a realistic option. People go out of town, their internet, get stuck at work, etc etc.

It's a chance we all take and affects everyone equally. Account sitting is often an unfair advantage. The most we lose are some points, but our integrity remains intact.

No, it doesn't affect everyone equally. More to the point, I've long hated the "if it can be abused, then it should be banned" logical fallacy. Banning sitting seems a harsh penalty and would lead to so many more missed turns that the gaming experience would suffer greatly.

I totally agree. I've used a sitter only a handful of times since I joined CC. But it is handy when needed. Like in the last six (6) weeks when work has called me out of town. Why punish the majority who use it sparingly and honestly when only a few misuse the system and are found out in the end?

In my estimation the community monitors itself. That's always the best way.
