Can you explain exactly what happened since the start of Day 2? I want to make sure there's no more holes in the story before I decide whether or not its believable.

I was going to present a case on Haggis, since that whole rigamarole with Rodion was the highlight of Day 1.

I got sidetracked/busy with work.

Victor told me that I have a Daykill ability today, and that as the road, my alignment/abilities change based on who travels on me.

First, I asked Victor what would happen if I killed myself.

Then he explained I would die and lose the game (since I am now 3rd-Party).

The whole case by Talapus went through. The entire time, I thought the SK thing was based on an investigation Tal made, but then I read more closely and realized it was based on nothing.

Then you told me that it was based on the Daykill, so it all made sense to me, and I realized that I could safely claim my true role.

I was worried that with Haggis gone, I would be the next best target. Especially since fircoal already had me Fosed. I needed some clear scum in order to hide behind. At the time I didn't realize that there was a recruiter. Now that I do, it was an extremely silly action.

But if he came up as a lyncher or mafia that would make you look good and you'd likely not be targeted. You could claim that you were the one who killed haggis and what not since we had it confirmed he was 3rd party. I dunno just seems odd that you'd kill Rodion over Haggis. Seeing as there was no NK last night Rod could've been a doc or jailkeeper when you chose to kill him and what benefit would that give to the town at all?

You also could have easily claimed vig instead of SK if you killed Haggis. What you claimed to have done doesn't make sense.

Also:

Why do you think you were next in line for a case if you killed Haggis?
Why were you so for lynching the SK earlier (going so far as to say town was screwed if they thought they shouldn't) followed up by claiming SK?
Basically, why were you so for lynching Haggis due to him being the SK when in fact you knew he was not the SK?

I'm keeping my vote on you until we have some very solid answers. There are so many inconsistencies here.

1. Fircoal already fosed me.
2. I didn't think of a temporary daykiller like an SK. I was an SK in Lebowski and when I claimed, I was killed immediately. I am, as far as I can tell, only SK for a day. Never in my wildest imagination after the Lebowski incident would I think of claiming SK. Then I pestered both you and Tal and you both said you would rather get an SK. So here's the deal: there is very likely no SK if you kill me now. I may not stay SK, and Tal's recruitment may work, nobody knows. But if you lynch me and recruit Haggis you get an unknown. If you lynch Haggis and recruit me you get an unknown. Why not keep the more active player? Furthermore, I am only SK today, so I don't think it's necessarily a suicide claim anymore. I noticed that Victor sent me that pm during a lag in activity. I think this may have been his way to promote activity, by adding new kinks to the mix.
3. I didn't realize that you thought he was an SK because of the daykill. I thought there was another reason. When I reread it, I noticed that Tal basically made it up out of nothing. I did not in fact know that he was not "the SK". I knew that I had killed Rodion. I knew that Haggis had a third-party role, and could've been the SK. Notice that I only fully claimed once I realized the town was working with false assumptions.

Yes, killing Rodion was a bastard move. However, I didn't think I could've used the daykill as a bargaining chip. I wish I would've now. I was just trying to kill someone who was obviously a townie, while still screwing my fellow Scum. I screwed scum and I screwed town. If that's not good SK playing, then I am sorry. I will be more of a bastard next time. Now that Tal has revealed the recruitment offer, everything has changed though.

Now Rod was clearly town aligned. You on the other hand claim that you switch alignment every night, but I think you're just straight up mafia. I also don't believe you to be a club but a spade or as Victor likely called it "Trade" I can possibly believe that you killed Rod but I think you're likely mafia just trying to lead us on. I got so blinded by the jack of trades being a mafia role I forgot his NAME was Jack of Trades not Town Badass. That changes everything. In a game called Mao when ever you play the jack of spades you call out, "Jack of Spades, the jack of all trades." That means Rodion is a spade!!!!

Yes Rod was a spade. I still think Yoshi is a mafia spade and that the mafia isn't necessarily made up of 1 suit and could be a mix of suits. Just a thought though.

I'll say that I didn't kill Rodion.
I can't think of any reasonable circumstance in which it would be sensible for me to DK Rodion right after having the only real debate in the game so far with him.

Yoshi's been misleading, telling half truths, near contradicting himself while viciously going for my throat for a few pages now.

His whole gambit is misleading. He keeps saying that he was only had 1 DK for today, then keeps calling himself a SK.
1 Dk != SK
Also, he keeps saying that his powers change every day, yet tries to lead the town to the conclusion that recruiting him is like recruiting a SK ...

I tend to agree that he's either a lyncher, or that lynching me is somehow very important to him(scum need to perform certain actions to get their NK? ).
Has he done anything else in this whole game except defending himself and attacking me? Hell he's even desperate enough to try to avoid lynching solely because he's active.

I'm not exactly sure what recruiting will do to me, but I'm for it. I'd rather be town than 3rd party, especially in a game like this

Doom, we aren't switching because you are supposedly an SK. We are switching because it flat out sounds like you are lying. You were the last to claim, your role has been revealed to us in pieces when much of our actions were based towards Haggis because of my investigation when it was your actions that made me investigate Haggis to begin with, and it sounds like we are getting half truths from you.

Also, didn't you say earlier you're as SK now but don't know what you'll be tomorrow? So explain to me how this makes us liars exactly. If you are town Doom then after the lynch goes through I hope you take some time later and look back over the thread because there are moves you made that I would not recommend making again in a similar game. I just got killed last time I was an SK. I wanted to make sure you understood exactly what you were saying before I came out.

I am not saying recruiting Haggis is bad. I am just saying that recruiting me is better - by your own admission! Earlier you said you would prefer to recruit an SK than an unknown. Here I am, your SK.

Fastposted: Yesterday it was standard town. Today it is standard SK, except I only had 48 hours after Victor pmed me to send in the kill. I fear tomorrow may be mafia, and that it could be unreturnable after that.

As to evil's point: Nobody in their right mind would claim SK unless they had a damn good reason too. We don't have to lynch Haggis, we can lynch someone else if you want. But with the results of Tal's investigation it just made the most sense. I can't see any other cases as of right now.

I was a Vanilla Townie Day 1. My role was revealed to me day 2. I was the one who killed Rodion. If you don't want to believe it, that's fine. However, you are not getting an SK, which you claimed to want.

This isn't a major lie, but all of the little things add up to one big deception. I highly doubt you are the serial killer. I would guess you are Haggis' lyncher. Whether or not Haggis is SK is up in the air, but I think we can assume he is (lyncher is 3rd party, so if Haggis isn't an SK, then there would be 3 third party players in a 7 person game). I'm pretty much set on wanting to lynch Yoshi - he's played pretty shady and has been caught in several lies (or untruths, if you prefer).
