Can we get rid of the FLASHING "new"?

It's a real distraction for no real benefit...so it's new...yeah we KNOW!!! :twisted:

I guess it will go away once it's not that new anymore. I agree that it should be taken away right now, though. Because, well, it's just not that new anymore.

I hardly pay attention to it. If it weren't for the GD forum I wouldn't have even noticed it. I hardly ever look on that left side there.

Does it really bother you to the point where you have to make a thread about it? Unless you have the attention span equivalent to that of a cat, it shouldn't affect you.
