Most often by putting your image on an image hosting website, such as photobucket.

There are some common problems that people have with sigs, and some solutions. You will need the URL of the image to put it inside [img] tags. If you have the image on your machine, do as squishy suggested and upload it to a photo sharing site like photobucket, or even a facebook will work. As long as it is on the web, you can get the URL by right clicking the image and clicking "Copy Image URL". Good luck! Feel free to PM me if you need further assistance.
