stop the red "NEW' from blinking

so how in my personal menu stop the word "new" from flashing? its red and annoying, I do not need c.c. to put this on my screen, i am a big boy i can read the forums and find whats new, that and i am not interested in having my dice stats.

Please delete that which you are asked to delete. And mine doesn't blink, I guess Steve Jobs and lack have some sort of agreement.
