My role was confirmed when Safari targeted me for the kill. It proved I was Mal. I would not lie about an investigation as town to get someone I just think is scum killed. I investigated him.

So then it was busdriver or framer.

Either way, that puts us at a big disadvantage since they will probably just keep busdriving you with someone else, now...

If Commander isn't town, then this is a moot point, certainly.

And, yes, I meant a scum busdriver... I believe if someone truly felt they had made a mistake, they would just say so.

Yeah, the DK ability only allows me to survive if I target Mal. Strike is 100% cleared townie as targeting a scum would have killed both the scum and me.

Just a blanket posts to my mafia games. I'm really swamped with work at the moment, and am unable to do much else than jump on and quickly take my turns. This will probably be the case for the next 3 days or so. Sorry for my lack of activity over the last few days, and over the coming few days. I understand that as someone who's original character died you cannot reveal any information regarding the busdrive. I meant that I believe that you most likely told saf who was busdriven so the fact saf never said anything gave credence to commander not being busdriven.

Yeah, I went back and looked, and he switched Vio and Nark. I did suggest switching naxus with someone, but my *ahem* husband, thought that we had another protective role who would take care of him.

So no, Com9 was not switched at any point.

Arg! Foiled by real life and CC downtime! Anyways, here it is.

Scene

Mal had recognized the man who killed Wash during the dead of the night. He was a bounty hunter by the name of Jubal Early oft in the employ of the Alliance. If there was a bounty on River's head Mal knew that Jubal wouldn't have gone far in the night.

Collecting the remaining crew Mal said, "I know the man who killed wash, and more importantly I know his ways. I would care to place a wager that he is still on this moon, perhaps even monitoring us now. We have no weapons capable of taking out a ship such as his, but there are other options. Kaylee. Do you think we could pull another Crazy Ivan?"

"Captain, the ship can, but I am not certain you can pull that, the only pilot I have ever heard of surviving an Ivan with his ship and his life is Wash, and I don't think he will be helping us."

"Then man the Engine Room, Jubal will not leave us alone until we kill him and I left my only AA gun back in Serenity Vally, so an Ivan it is."

Soon they had the ship circling the moon, well within the atmosphere. Minutes into the flight a voice hailed them over the radio. "She is wanted alive, but killing you all will bring nearly the same profit and I think I shall enjoy it more. Land or I will clean you from the skies."

Signaling Kaylee, Mal flipped Serenity on a dime and pushed the engines as far as he dared, rocketing past Jubal's ship. Just as he cleared Jubal's ship Kaylee overloaded the engine, the resulting blast nearly tore the ship to pieces, but what the explosion failed to do to Serenity was done in full to Jubal's ship. There was hardly enough left of it to fall from the sky.

Yes, for the sticklers that's a Reaver ship, but there are only so many Crazy Ivans pulled in Firefly.... Use your imagination.
