how do I create a heart symbol in game chat?

OK, I know it's just too cute, and it doesn't pertain to gameplay, but, everything female in me went "awww" when someone posted a little heart symbol in game chat! Now of course, I want to know how to do that myself; sure, I could copy and paste, but, how do I originate that symbol? And yes, I asked the person who posted it, but did I get a straight answer? Of course not...

So perhaps someone here will take pity on a poor little not-so-techie feline, and clue me in? Actually, a symbol table with all the available codes would be great...
