I made my vote immediately after reading fissk's post which I quoted, before reading anything between his and mine. it was truly that terrible of a post. i then read the rest, nothing to change my mind.

He didn't do anything right, though.

Also an excellent post from Kratos considering it's his first game. Kudos to you.

This may be the first, and last, time I answer to one of your posts..

Your logic is at this level: _

Bottom line logic, basicly.

I am defending who, btw? I simply pointed out to you that fissk didn't do anything right. I am not defending anyone

Very well. Sorry for breaking up your discussion of a separate game.

Vote freezie. I'm sure this vote won't pass (nor should it in Day 1), but I find it fishy that freezie claimed the one role that makes it impossible for us to figure him out for sure if he is in fact scum. Especially at the very beginning of Day 1, before any discussion about anything had begun. I would assume that he would know this act is suspicious, and this is definitely a WIFOM situation, but in the end I don't believe that a miller would announce themselves at the beginning of Day 1 when they aren't in immediate danger of being "found out."

As you can see, I haven't been "working with freezie." We both saw a suspicious person and mentioned it. If you use that logic, then everyone who ever questioned Fissk is scum. Hey, it's a majority. We won!

Seriously though, can you give me a single reason why I shouldn't have voted for Fissk? I've given many reasons why I should have. You just said "he did nothing wrong" and then FoS'd me and everyone who has posted since.

Fissk, I think it's time for you to roleclaim. Since this is your first game, I'll give you a small roleclaim tutorial.

What does that mean? You basically have to get that first PM that DoomYoshi sent you and explain everything there to us. You can't, however, copy exact expressions from there: you'll have to explain them with your own words.
So, what character do you represent? What is this character's role (the name that symbolizes his power)? What are this character's powers? How can you win the game?

Until you have done all that (and convincingly), you get my vote.

Vote The Fissk.

Alright. I'm convinced that AOG and Fissk have characters that are somehow linked. Be it by lovers, best friends, masons, mafia, or maybe some other third party. This blind I must defend fissk attitude seems pretty proving of this. The question will certainly be which though. I guess we'll find out when fissk claims though. If fissk turns out to be scum I know who I'll be looking into on day 2 though. Actually if fissk is scum I guess a cop checking out AOG could be helpful. Unless we feel that there would be enough evidence not to waste the cop investigation on AOG and try one of the other suspicious parties like hank or jonty.

Can you explain how Onix is a lyncher? I don't see how Brock's Pokemon is considered a lyncher. Onix isn't normally associated with such things.

Just finished rereading, and I'm willing to let my vote slip here due to being new. I know the feeling. Still, at that time it was enough to warrant my vote.

Unvote

About fissk's claim. Sneaky sneaky I must say. I don't think that's how lynchers WC works. Fissk cleary states that, for him to win, he has to be alive at endgame and his target has to be dead.

A lyncher has to LYNCH his target, and WINS when that happens.

Any thoughts on this? FoS Fissk (vote count?)

That is correct. Typically he wins immediately after the lynchee is lynched.

At least Fissk didn't claim VT, as Yoshi said there were no VTs. So from that point of view Fissk is telling the truth.
However odd his role sounds, he may be lying or telling the turth, we can't say for sure. And pokemon aren't easily associated with any mafia roles. My pokemon doesn't seem to fit his role either, but it is what it is. Since we can't tell easily as to whether his pokemon would fit the role, I think we should wait and see if any one counterclaims him. (does yoshi give mafia fake claims?)
I find myself satisfied with Fissk's defense only because he's new. But beware, Fissk, next time your defense needs to be a step up. I'll let you go for now, but if someone legitamately counterclaims or you do something else scummy, I might vote you. Just be cautious, and post with your brain. :)

Yoshi said in his first post that he would provide fake claims if anyone was unfamiliar with the setting. We can't really count on a counterclaim in this game.

Besides, there are 151 1st generation pokémon. Add human beings. Add other generations. You don't really need a fake claim if any pokémon you guess has a huge chance of not being counterclaimed (because there are so many).

Hmm it's not that onix couldn't be placed as a lyncher, however odd that may be, it's the fact that the lyncher usually wins as soon as he lynches his target. Although there are exceptions I will not name them to let him claim that's what he meant. Him being a lyncher is also not what I pinned his role as being which brings me back to this.

So either AOG is truly just blindly defending fissk or fissk lied in his claim and they are mafia together. The next question that rises for me is why is AOG just blindly defending fissk if fissk is telling the truth? I'm going to keep my vote on AOG because I'm quite suspicious of him right now.

Yes. This is true and would still fit with why AOG is defending fissk so hard if he is a mafia lyncher and AOG is in the mafia, too.

Yes, I can see how that rule twist may look suspicious. But it means that either Fissk made up his own fake claim on his own or yoshi actually made his role (or fakeclaim) like that. Plus, it's pokemon. Yoshi probably wanted to twist the rules a bit for the theme. But then again, maybe Yoshi put that twist in there to give us a hint that it was a fakeclaim. Maybe he twists the fakeclaims a little to help the town out. We can't say for sure as of yet.
Yeah, you're right. We can't rely on counterclaims all that much, due to yoshi's fakeclaims and the huge expanse of pokemon. But there's still the possibility of someone counterclaiming, either due to Fissk making his own fakeclaim or someone scummy trying to get him lynch. Unlikely, but possible.

About AoG, he seems overall scummy in the way he plays. In other games, he's been doing some suspicious things. I think either he is defending Fissk because of their "mafia alliance" or he's just being himself defending n00bs. AoG is a fellow troll and I don't expect much from him other than a vote (though I'm sure he can improve). "troll" meant in the nicest way of course

Meanwhile, I'll just slink off to Ash's house and cuddle in the corner.

Do we want the quick lynch or force some of the other believed scum to role claim first though? We still have 16 days. I've only ever played mafia with a group of friends in person so I don't know which would be better in a game of mafia online.
