[UNKNOWN] Mafia Day 5 - The Disappearance [Abandoned]

I hate to be making excuses, but apparently I've got an allergy to something and I've spent the last few hours in the bed. I'll see try to write a scene, but if I'll notice that it's bad quality, it will have to wait. (Allergy and being sick before the finals = awesome )

I hate mods that can't take the time to do their jobs right and let a little cough get in the way..sheesh....

Godfrey de Saint-Omer had just finished writing his mail towards his family... It was a goodbye letter. "It was not easy... But I am fully committed to the cause.. The Grand Master of the Knights Templar fully trusts me and I have to repay his faith. We are here to help cleanse the world from evil and I shall not fail!" Godfrey put down his feather and leaned back on his chair... When he heard a blade coming right down on him. Just as it was about to slash his throat, Henry Chevalier pushed him out of his chair.
"Run, my Sire. I'll hold him off!"
Godfrey didn't wait a minute and broke off the door, but this time he did not lose his awareness... But a shadow was still right behind him... Waiting...
Henry Chevalier was exstatic that he just saved his Knights Templar Seneschal and even he survived. Right with that thought a bolt from a crossbow went straight through his neck and came out behind the wall. Henry, drowning in his blood, thought that at least he did something meaningful today.

Army of God, Henry Chevalier - Monk of Knights Templar, has been killed on Night 1.


Godfrey has survived today to fight for another day... For those delicious snacks at the Knights Templar cafeteria.

The whole scene was observed by Henry's brother, Jacques. He could not believe what he just seen... "My brother... You sacrificed everything for the Order and look where you ended up... Oh WHY!!!" He just held his head down, crying for hours. During that time, a shadowy figure appeared not far away from him... And it had a plan...


Just because things go according to your plan doesn't mean much by itself.

The figure apparently lost it's concentration as well and was nearly slayed, but it's in-humanly fast reflexes helped it survive and run away. The whole scene caused a lot of commotion in the town and God knows what else went on during this time. Day 2 begin. No deadline as of yet.

First of all, there are a couple of different lover mechanics: Some mods kill lovers as soon as the other one dies, some let them live for a day, some do something else. Furthermore, I've never said this is a standard lover's mechanic.

Doesn't lover die no matter whether the doc protects? I thought it was an intrinsic dying mechanism.

I will confirm one thing - doctor can't stop lover's mechanic from working (at least in this game).

Shield came out as lover and had said nam was his lover...I do not see how that would work as a lie...unless you think shield willingly lied about WHO his lover was wwhich would make very little sense. I am however interested in why nam is not dead...I can not remember a game where a lovers mechanic didn't mean both died...

In Shakespeare's play, Juliet fakes her death to escape. Romeo thinks she really died and suicides. Then Juliet awakes, sees Romeo dead and suicides as well. There's some sort of "delay" in which people think Juliet died when she actually didn't. Here, it might be the opposite. People don't see her dead when she actually did? Or is that "delay" converted to the game in her taking 1 more day to die?

Anyway, I'd like Namliam to talk all he can. Full claim. Character's name, role, alignment, winning condition, possible message gotten from the mod during N1, everything.

In some of my games if a lover was lynched I gave the lover a DK the next day. The lover died at the end of the day. Duno whats going on here, but Nam should be able to tell us.

now is it just me or are we going on a wild goose chase with this Romo and Juliet thing! I mean could it just be the mafia trying to make us vote another town. Thats my impression if they are lovers does it really matter now that we know should we not try to find mafia?

It's possible, although unlikely, that a lover who was fated to die might have been recruited a third party or cult faction. I don't know if this would negate the lover death condition or not, but it's still not good for town.
