First game of CC Mafia (have played mafia elsewhere but only with doc and cop). I was unsure of whether we going to lynch naxus (who hasn't posted since his possible recruitment) or pursue other courses of action (look for cult leader or mafia).

Not posting in a 2-hour period is certainly not a reason to lynch someone, if that's what you're trying to imply. But I agree that Naxus was likely recruited.

For now, I'd like PCM to clear someone (from being mafia) and Naxus to tell his N3 investigation results.

Sorry, I was indictating that the scene indicated it was naxus so there seems to be a general consensus he is now cult but no votes (probably waiting till he speaks).

Likely. But if his winning condition changed, is he going to help us? Should we believe him?

I have an idea. PCM, only explain how you used your power after Naxus gives his report. This way, Naxus may be risking his life if he says the person PCM protected is guilty. Since Naxus can't know who PCM protected, he's tempted to tell the truth.

So it might not be naxus, since he was a tracker/cop. Maybe there is a counterpart to his role. However that seems like a lot of powerful investigators for town. With that kind of power roles, you would think more successful investigations would have been made. I would like to hear naxus' report from last night before I draw any conclusions.

Curious. Awesome NK, props to Masli/pancakemix. I don't think lynching naxus is the way to go. We don't know for sure if he's cult or not, but either way, is that really our best lynch? Seems like we should shoot for TheSaxlad (presumably the last mafia member) or the Cult Recruiter.

5 days isn't a lot of time, I still think there's a good chance naxus was recruited as he was a sane cop able to determine cult alignment. I don't know whether cult would WIFOM not recruit him or what.

But how can we be sure of your investigations? Obviously your win condition has changed. For all we know, Yoshi could be a cult member that you are trying to cover for now. The only results we could trust from you would be scum results.

But you're cult now. What incentive do you have for providing accurate information? You could just as easily lead town in the wrong direction with faulty results.

I thought we ruled out the possibility of Com9 being recruited from the Night 2 and Night 3 results. However, it does seem to indicate the DoomYoshi would be mafia then.

I've been swapping myself during the night to free up the doc from protecting me. So they targeted me.

On Naxus: Don't lynch him. It's a waste. If we're going to lynch anyone cult today, it should be the leader. Kill naxus tonight please if he must be dealt with now. That said, we cannot trust his investigation because he's cult and more likely than not knows who is in the cult at this point. Plus, as I said earlier, based on my experience in Albarezzi recruited roles lose their powers in Sax's games (I think) so his offer is not a good one. I think Yoshi should explain his role given the circumstances.
