Add-ons

Postby Commander9 on Sun May 01, 2011 7:28 pm

Are there any add-ons that automatically start turns for players? I've recently played a casual FS game where opponent started the same second or 1 second later (and there was a fairly significant time that I've waited between the turns) and I'm just somewhat curious whether there any such official add-ons?
But... It was so artistically done.

For 12 minutes in a casual game? That's what I thought at first, but I just somewhat doubt anyone would do that. Anyways, I was just curious.

They could also be placing a weight on the 'b' button.. not as likely but possible. Cases of this come up all the time in C&A

Yes, I'm aware - that's why I posted here and without a name. Basically I just wanted to satisfy my curiosity as I know that I don't have solid enough evidence and that he could be innocent anyways.

Yes there are programs that do this, and no they are not allowed.
CC requires humans to play the game, not computers. So things like starting yor turn should be done on your own, since they are an action. Note that putting something on the B key is allowed, but a script is not. A small difference, but it is there. After all, B key works only for the active game, (note B is start turn), a script can take care of multiple games...

Sometimes it is possible for the hunters to establish the use of such a program. Just keep reporting it, and they can build a case!

So you do think I should make a report? Like I said, I have no idea whether the guy is guilty or not - it was just a bit odd to me when I noticed that.

do so, so the mods can note it. ps can you check if he plays multiple freestyle games at the same time? because that can be an indication of foul play.. if he plays multiple games but normlyy does not have this, then he looks clean to me..
