It was. I am in a game with him and he was conqueror when I turned. I shoulda taken a screenie.
So rabbiton, or someone else, just bought mems to be conqueror? Funny.

greetings funkyterrance, may your reign of faintly off-color posting last as long as ljex's conquerorship. i do not know what "mems" is funkyterrance, but if i did i would certainly consider purchase if it is as funny as you suggest.

in an aside who here thinks ljex was the greatest conqy ever? certain better that the conqs immediately before and after. conqs these days don't know how to strut. strut it until someone bans it, i say.

I just checked, the important one (ljex) apparently didn't work out. I dunno why, the one I got of the change to ribbiton worked and has the local time as well.

Hmm...I'll have to figure out why it didn't work properly. Maybe didn't push the buttton enough but I swearthe screen flashed....

I am fairly sure most of CC saw it. Ljex was number 1 on the scoreboard for a bit.

I honestly didn't believe this thread when I saw it, so I had to check the scoreboard. I didn't know Blitz was reset, so it was surprising.

ijex only farms on Oasis anyway.

you don't get the conqueror symbol until you're conqueror on the scoreboard. So if he had the conqueror symbol he was there when the scoreboard updated.

If it's that imperative that he was listed there on the scoreboard, I saw it and posted on his wall at 12:11 CC time (not a screenshot, but good enough I think, especially since a bunch of people did it right after me)

also, the few players that never hit 1st, but achieved 2nd place on the scoreboard that get overshadowed but deserve proper credit are as follows in sequential order.

It's likely that some people got conqueror, then lost points minutes later and got back to #2, so I guess there were shorter reigns.

technically though, you're not conqueror until you've held the points for an hour so its officially on the scoreboard.

I don't think you need to wait a full hour, but just hold it when the clock changes from one hour to another.

If updates happen every hour and you get to #1 at 4:58pm, you just need to hold it for 2 minutes until the 5:00pm update.

That considered, you'll get to keep the award for at least 1 more hour, even if you drop to #2, so, yes, I guess there can't be a reign shorter than 1 hour.

And to those who are not sure, I can guarantee I saw ljex as a conqueror.

That's because regular ranks are based on your score which updates instantly when you win/lose a game.

The conqueror rank is not based on score, it's based on scoreboard position, and scoreboard only updates once an hour.

thanks for the congrats everyone, not the best way to get it though

MF - when you did the research for shortest time at number 1 that list it does not have people listed multiple times so it may be accurate but it is not guaranteed. There may have been a time where someone who had already achieved conqueror got it and lost it in a shorter period then I did. Furthermore it lists the longest they were at the number 1 spot straight for, not that it matters to me.
