I really cannot see all 3 being scum,, but the way Hank is playing right now is definitely scummy. From being an adamant poster until he is questioned then he disappears and has not even tried to defend himself as of yet

It's getting difficult for me to tell the difference between scummy and n00by plays in this game.

I mean yea, if we were all experienced players then what shield and hank did were absolutely fucking stupid, but I think they just don't know what they're doing and I see innocence in them.

I feel like I see some alliances or whatever. Like Egg_McMuffin mentioned before, shield and jonty are probably together (but I don't necessarily think they're scum, just n000bs).

But also some of the defenses of safari seem a bit of overkill. Don't know if they're scum, 3rd party or town alliances though (derp! obviously).

I had already voted for safariguy because I thought he was suspicious. That was before jonty voted for him. In fact, my most recent vote for safari was a reiteration of my previous vote. I am not in any alliance with jonty.

I'm going to unvote, vote shieldgenerator for bandwagoning and Fos jonty for doing the same.

If you look back in the logs, I voted for you before jonty did, and thus was not bandwagoning.

Maybe, since I'm not the cult recruiter, I'd point it out because it's too obvious if I was. But then, if I was the cult recruiter, maybe I'd point it out so you all don't think I am the cult recruiter.

That's a possibility that I'm still considering.

I did too defend myself. I explained why it was I thought safariguy5 was suspicious. It may not be much to go on, but any argument anyone makes D1 is likely to not be based much on solid evidence. Luckily for safariguy he had evidence (or excuses?) to support his non-scum claim. That's all I'm saying. I'm suspicious of safariguy, even if the logic behind it is fuzzy. He may be a pro player of mafia, but sometimes he slips up too.

It's day one, and hank looks more like he's joking around than trying to waste time in order to benefit the mafia. This doesnt warrant a vote though.

Somewhat disagree - just because he's making nooby mistakes and is joking around doesn't mean his pro-town either. He's been one of the scummiest of the day and he'd be a good lead - and if he'd turn to be mafia...

Hmm, I'm not feeling the case on hank here.

He accused other players of not being serious and then wasn't serious himself. Seems more nooby than anything to me. Shield seems a better choice.

Still, link with firth + him posting without contributing anything makes him a decent D1 lynch I guess.

P.S. In case I die in the meantime or something: If shield/jonty is eventually revealed as scum, town should look carefully at how the wagons evolved today

To be fair, the case on hank is weak, but there aren't much better ones. I'd personally would prefer to go against shield, but Hank seems like a viable option.

This is all well and interesting, but we need to choose a target. On the one hand, we seem to be on Hank because he's been minimally active in terms of evidence and bandwagonning without really contributing.

Then on the other hand, we're jumping on firth for defending Hank. The argument of mafia members not defending each other day 1 is wifom. You cannot use that to justify defending him. The easiest thing to do is to pressure a claim out of someone. Then decide whether the other person is scummy by association.

Personally, I think shield is the best option - incredibly scummy, can't handle the pressure and has not contributed anything at all.
