Ok, but the text didn't say anything about there being a recruiter, it just implied the hint of some sort of third party. Yet you jumped to the conclusion of recruiter immediately.

vote Metsfanmax as he's off about safari about jumping to conclusions while the quote says (that he used!) there is a 'good chance' not definitely.

For me this is one vote too far. If you are serious about making a case, do it properly. Funnily enough I agree with you that the case against saf didn't make sense, but nor do I think metsfan has pursued it terribly far. If you think thats a scumtell, explain it properly. Don't just change your vote every time a new idea strikes. Otherwise you come across as bandwagoning (since your vote has only just come after hank FOSed) or trying to spread suspicion far and wide, which is why I'm going to unvote. Vote jonty.

On a slight side-note:
Army of GOD wrote:Don't lynch me bro!!!!

Also, Unvote. I guess it was more of a n00b move by jeraado (or however his name is spelled. I can't be arsed to go back a few pages).

Interesting thing we have going on right now but I don't feel convinced either way about who I think is scum.

If that's your rationale then you should keep your vote on me. It was a cute way of trying to unvote with dignity, but you've been advocating a day 1 no-lynch. Pot, kettle etc.

I wasn't bandwagonning and we've still got a full week to the deadline so I'm still brainstorming at this stage and cating a vote in case something goes wrong in RL. And as time passes more evidence comes so of course my vote will keep changing.

Again, I'm not trying to start a bandwagon against safari. I do think he didn't explain well why he immediately thought cult recruiter when there was only an implication of a third party, but for all I know that's just because that's how it works in most mafia games. However, assuming he is indeed the experienced mafia player that he claims to be, I really doubt that if he is part of a cult, he would make such an obvious mistake and give that away on page one, which is why I'm not pursuing the case.

Mets, my first thought was recruiting cult and saf is way more experienced than me. If there is a third party faction then either it would have to have a good few members probably at least 4, or recruit. My take on the scene flavour is that at the moment it isnt a great threat, but needs to be taken care of, which suggests it can grow. However I think the main point is that personally, I couldn't see saf raising it in that way, even as a clever ruse to seem innocent.

Bandwagoning again? Admitting to voting someone despite not being suspiscious of them(I know it's day one but there is a clear issue on whether it is suspiscious that safari pointed it out)?

This argument is weak at best. It's day one, and hank looks more like he's joking around than trying to waste time in order to benefit the mafia. This doesnt warrant a vote though. So hank, start getting serious. Streaker unvote.

Originally I had voted since I was suspicious. The only reason I hadn't unvoted yet was because I didn't have a better candidate yet. And just to mess with saf also. The second vote can hardly be called bandwagoning. Although I am leaning towards an unvote as I see Hank is actually playing like he normally does.

Last night, I was extremely tired but unable to sleep. I'm sorry if my vote for Hank didn't make a lot of sense - I am having trouble justifying it to myself even.

I'm not sure safari jumped immediately to cult recruiter. I think it is certainly interesting that that is the part of his fairly lenghty post that you picked up on. However, I cannot vote you for the same reason that you are voting saf. That would be ironic at best, hypocritical at worst.

The second half of your argument borders on WIFOM. Maybe it is an interesting cult that wins by dying? I am not saying that it is likely but that there are a lot of possibilities and he can be playing exactly like you expect him not to.

@jonty again: it's difficult to define right.I make a lot of mistakes. In general, keep in mind that the goal of the mafia is to spread confusion and bounce around the place. The goal of us townies is to figure out who scum is.

So yeah, I'm pretty sure he did immediately jump to cult recruiter, as in fact this was his first post in the thread.

# Bleed_Green.
# Gilligan

# Pancakemix

Then again, my suspiscions are not worth much with this many players not posting for so long. Anyone else think they should be prodded?

Yes, they should be prodded. I don't even know who Bleed or jrh are... which shows how much they are active;)

What is the blatant contradiction? The reason I hadn't unvoted safariguy before I did was that I had yet to have a better candidate. The only reason I haven't unvoted Hank yet is that I still do not have a better candidate. If it will make you happy unvote.

As for messing with saf, he was explaining to me that the whole point of voting is to get them to roleclaim, so I responded by keeping my vote on him to force him to roleclaim. It was a joke. Not a particularly funny one, but a joke nonetheless.
