How could I have accidentally begun my turn?

I was happily typing away in game chat today, when to my horror I saw that I had begun my turn! As this was a team game, and I had not heard from my teammates yet, very uncool :shock:

I've never done this before - but I am a terrible typist, and could have easily hit some random keys by mistake...

My question is: if I want to ONLY start/play my turn by clicking on a box, or a drop down menu, is there a way to disable any other ways to start/play?

And what did I do to cause the game to start, anyway? I'm now totally paranoid about typing in chat...

Code: Select all: Clickable Maps Instead of using the Action panel, you can play by clicking on the map. Point your mouse over playable regions and follow instructions in the tooltip. Use these shortcuts as well... N Key: Skip to next game, Jump to next game B Key: Begin Turn E Key: End Deployment, End Assaults, End Reinforcement L Key: Later (decline to play spoils) W,S Keys: Increase/decrease troop quantity (slow) Q,A Keys: Increase/decrease troop quantity (fast) Mouse Wheel: Change troop quantity by scrolling over the selected region. CTRL Key + Click: You can always use CTRL-click instead of the right mouse button. Middle Click: To advance to next stage (Begin Turn, End Assaults, etc.) click the middle mouse button anywhere on the map.

I should add that hitting the B key only begins your turn when the map is the active bit of the window, meaning that you can still use the letter B in the game chat as long as you have the chat selected, see?

Yes, thank you - I do understand that I can type "B" in game chat... What I do a lot of though (in team games), is scroll up to look at the map, then back down to game chat, then back up to the map, and so on. I need to have the map as large as possible, so as far as I know, floating game chat is not a good option for me... I must have hit the wrong key at the wrong time, or clicked the wrong place, or something... I have trained myself to be very very very careful around the "Begin Turn" button, so it's unlikely that I accidentally hit that...
