When Conquer Club was in its infancy, there was a resign button, but it was removed because it seemed to encourage more and more poor-sportsmanship---people were rarely finishing games, which took away from the winner's enjoyment of the game. I know I'd be somewhat disappointed if during my rare wins, my opponent just left before I could eliminate them or sweep the board.

Like people lose 6v3 on 1st turn and resign!
Get the hump - resign! Totally changes the game and ruins strategy. Neutrals everywhere - it doesn't work.
Not an advantage for premiums - but they would be able to screw the game for others in one of those dice *ahems* that we've all been in......

JPcelticfc wrote:Could you not have a resignation button? but then its up to your oppenents whether to accept it or not!! if not then play goes on!! It would be handy for 1vs1 on maps like hive were you couldn't be bothered making the sweep!!
