Not quite correct, maximum would be 6x5/3 or 10. Upon killing the 7th player and getting his spoils, the game would end. But yes, 10 consecutive sets, but sets at once the most possible is 3.
This is due to if you have 5 cards, you'd have played a set at the start of the turn. If you have 4, then kill a player with 5, you will have 9 and the possibility of 3 sets.
So 10 is the maximum consecutive sets you can play in a turn, 3 is the most you can play at a single moment.
