Great news guys.
I'VE GOT A THEORY! (and an appropriate link to go with it

).
So, I have been rereading the game, looking for the people who have been trying to lay low and I noticed that herk has been posting in a pretty unconcerned manner, without making any effort whatsoever to actually contribute to the discussion. Then, he has been replaced by strike wolf, which brings me to:
3 REASONS WHY STRIKE WOLF IS SCUM!1. Rule of three. One of the common scumtells involves a member of Mafia accusing 2 non-mafia and 1 mafia players. Strike wolf did it here:

Campin doesn't bug me too much he seemed mostly just sarcastic but possibly a bit defensive as well over an otherwise weak connection to TWO. But honestly I don't think much about his comment about stopping the joke wagon. If I had been in the game at the time I probably would have said something somewhat similar considering the speed that it developped and how many people were on that wagon. So I don't think there is much of a case there.
TWO was very defensive over that early bandwagon. I don't know two very well but gamewise it seems very odd to get that defensive that early especially when he acknowledged that it was a joke wagon.
But the person who stood out the most to me was commander. Particularly for this post:

You say that you're worried about something happening with this bandwagon but given the pure randomness and such of this wagon I would have a hard time seeing anything coming from it that would make you claim or have you lynched. It would be put on the bandwagoners. No one would make you claim for jokes. However you seem to be scared about this. I have a feeling that you're scum that's afraid of having to claim. I think if you were town you'd just be relaxed and not feel much pressure from it, but because you're so moved by it (before the bandwagon even gets that big) I have a feeling that you are scumzel. My confusing joke vote is now a real votezel.
This. You've started the joke and got a few joke votes, but suddenly started getting nervous and making explanations...
Before fircoal had posted his reasons for suspecting two commander's posts regarding TWO's wagon had appeared to be made mostly in jest. Fircoal casts some suspicion towards him and commander jumps on it and it wasn't the only time commander jumped on the wagon.
2. A townie needs to work for a win while a Mafia member needs only to survive. Thus "I'll be gone for a while, but I would like to stay in the game" definitely sounds like something a Mafia memeber would say.

I will most likely not be paying attention to any of my mafia games over the next so many days however I should be back in less than a week and would prefer not to be replaced (this goes for the Matrix mafia as well). However if Iliad feels I should be replaced than that's fine.
3. Strike wolf has been laying so low that the ants have been jumping over him. No conflicts, no accusations of individual players and a general air of mellowness that could shame Dude Lebowsky. Certainly not the type of behaviour that you would expect from a townie trying to drag the Mobsters out of shadows from which they are lurking. Also, he had only cast 1 vote, on Violet, just before the hammer fell and after much procrastinating, although he obviously knows enough about Buffy Lore to know that Spike in season 3 can't possibly be on Town's side.
