EVERYONE seems to avoid Poison Rome! What's up with that?

It's the 3:rd time I'm putting up a 4 player game on Poison Rome on the major thread without getting a single player to join! When I put up games with the same settings on a different map there it gets full straight away!! But not Poison Rome! So I guess my question is why do you dislike/avoid playing on it? It's a very intriguing map which gives players the possibility to build advanced strategies! It's a lot of fun especially when combined with fog of war!

IMO, its attack routes are more complex than most other maps.

Poison Rome is hands down one of the most confusing maps on this site.

I rarely if ever play it in standard games, though I've been apart of some trips games in clan wars on it.

? When I first played it I thought it was a little confusing too but ones you've played a couple of games on it it starts to make sense! Like all maps really! That's why I can't see why anyone avoids it it's not any different from all other advanced maps!

? What makes it so hard? I mean I understand that the gods make it difficult and there are other things that contributes to the overall difficulty level, but why is it more feared than lets say Das Schloss? I was under the impression that a lot of players like difficult maps

You might get more hits if it wasn't a private game..

I put up a game on the major thread recently Game 8384268 but it's dependent of 2 more players joining who are 2000+ and I've had no success there so far! If you know anyone who might want to join feel free to invite them! Arama86n just declared interest in playing a doubles on that map so if you have teammate who want to join a doubles game with fog on Poison I'll create a game for us! Wow maybe we can get 2 games going on Posion Rome

Gabon I've put up games there before but the last 4 open games I started not a single none newbie joined and only 2 of the 12 newbies who joined took their turns! Of course I won all the games but I'm not much into farming and it seems like everyone who knows even remotely what they're doing avoid this map! That's why I started this thread to get a clue as to why everyone (except Danryan

) treats it like the plauge!? It's just a map guys

I've just never been a fan of maps that stray far away from standard gameplay and geography. I just seem to enjoy those the most.

In my mind, it ranks right up there with Crossword. I'll leave it to the reader to determine whether that is a good thing or not.

Strategically...it's probably one of the best, but I think the color scheme makes it one of the ugliest maps on the site, which is why I don't like playing on it.

Lol yeah it's not a looker exactly but hey I don't mind as long as it's challenging enough!
