Question, on the scoring.

Postby Tshock on Fri Jan 25, 2008 12:24 pm

Ok for winning a game you get (losers score / winners score) * 20. how is the losers and winners scores calculated? number of armies held over the game? number of territories? how long and how many bonuses you held?

just wondering, not a big deal really.

the only way that somebody could win or lose yet still lose/gain 20 is if they have the exact amount of points

Everyone starts out with a score of 1000, when you win a game you gain score by the formula you posted, and when you lose a game you lose score by the same formula, quite easy, really.

Why is it that the last player eliminated have more points deducted compared to some players who are eliminated much earlier in the game? I thought the that the last player eliminated should have the least point deducted; while the first player eliminated should have the most points deducted.

When you are eliminated has nothing at all to do with how many points you lose. All that matters is your rank at the time the game ends and the rank of the individual who wins the game (unless it's a terminator game, which is a different animal).
