Postby johnhendey on Tue Jan 11, 2011 10:54 am

Hi new player here, I have looked all over the forums and in game instructions. So I apologize for being a noob in advance BUT what is the 'nuclear' game type.
I understand assassin, terminator etc but not nuclear.
Thanks for the help folks

Nuclear is to do with the spoils (cards) which you get for taking a territory.

When you trade in a set, instead of getting extra troops, all the armies on the territories of the cards you trade in are destroyed and the territory becomes 1 neutral.

Hope this helps.

Nuclear groups are not worth any troops. Instead, each region in the group is nuked to a single neutral troop (even if you own it!).

example, you have a spoil aka card with you 10 army stack on it. suppose you had to cash in a combo of 3 cards with that particular country on it.
instead of your 10 stack brightly showing your colours, you would get a neutral country with only 1 army standing on it. aka your 10 are dead and replaced by 1 neutral army.
If that country was your last one, you are now dead and out of the game.
