Also, I know this was mentioned before as well. I don't see how uncle is a cpr doc

fastposted, not only that, but uncle has no medical training

I would also vote for sully, however he is at L-1, so my vote won't count. Can someone unvote real quick?

Unvote.

Any last words, Sully? I'll wait for more post of his before I hammer.

I don't think CPR doc literally means he's using cpr, Commander. It makes some sense because of his alcoholism and general incompetence. And I'm not sure you would misconstrue that.

Commander, I already did:
Victor Sullivan wrote:My character's name is just "Uncle", I guess. I didn't really get a name... Never played Red Dead before, so I'm not familiar with the characters.

Basically, I think my guy is clumsy or incapable or something, because he basically said that "if someone's in need of your small knowledge of medicine, you can help them, but if they were okay in the first place, you'll probably screw up and kill them". Obviously those aren't the exact words from the PM (as that would be cheating), but I think my paraphrase covered it.

-Uncle Sully :)

My character, "Uncle", doesn't literally have those CPR paddles or whatever you want to call them. He's just a clumsy oaf, from what I can tell.

-Professor Oaf

But then his role would say something else and he'd just give him abilities matching CPR doctor's. This is the reason I asked for the exact name of his role, but he didn't give that.

Oh, I think I know what you mean now. He called the role Rookie Doc, I believe. Id have to check my role PM again to make sure, though. Gimme a minute.

Animal husbandry often requires at least some knowledge of medicine, e.g. stitching up wounds, cleaning, etc etc, which really can be used on humans as well. I think Sully's claim is plausible.

Giving the role as CPR doc is just a role, and I don't think every mod would customize the name of the role to fit the period, otherwise there might be confusion. That's why it's known as a cpr doc in the first place. Kinda like how we have common names for animals and plants, but they all have scientific names.

Frankly I think you're pursuing this rather doggedly for such a minor detail.

vote Commander

So you will discard his dodgy behaviour, dodgy role and scummaring (especially when he already said that his role's name wasn't CPR Doc and he went to look for it and disappeared) and will vote me. Brilliant =D>

Nevermind, now that I looked back to TG's posts, I think it all makes perfect sense for him to vote me.

TA1LGUNN3R wrote:I think that makes me L-2, right? With Commander that's a hammer if he votes, so...

I'm Nigel West Dickens, Town Politician. It is probably vital that I stay alive. If Commander is scum, then I can negate his double vote.

Sorry, I can't spin straw into gold. I'm just not that good. Would if I could.

Just like back then your claim didn't make sense compared to your character's role, but I backed down because I was the only one.

TA1LGUNN3R wrote:Oh and I didn't steal anybody's vote last night. I figured that would be the best way to judge from people's posts who was scum.

If you would have been truly-pro town, you would have taken that vote from someone, because you would have had more control. It's better to have the control yourself than in the hands off someone unconfirmed.

Unvote.

Now I'm strongly leaning towards voting TG after all.

Well VS tends to act dodgy and scummarine in just about every game I've played with him. Hell he even told us in Briarsburg that there were two mafias. I think it's easy to paint him as scummy. You, on the other hand, are a different story.

See this is what I'm talking about. Politician makes perfect sense. My character is a salesman, a con artist. The fact that of the claims presented thus far, yours is the only "saint" and perfect person leads me to believe you picked the best-looking one for a claim. The only reason I didn't vote for you earlier was because you claimed to have been masoned with edocsil, which made sense for with your reaction, but really that can be pulled off by any scum feigning concern for the town.

Well generally I think you're much more careful, and you bring better evidence to the table then "oh his role doesn't make sense because they didn't have cpr at the time."

How is con artist and salesman connected to politician? (I've google 2 times now the word con-artist and nothing came up connected to politics).

Well, out of all characters that are still here, mine is the only major one - it would make no sense if Landon Ricketts wouldn't have been in the game. If I would have been scum, I would not have picked a major character - way too many chances for it to be ousted. It makes much more sense to pick a minor character, just like you did.

When it's LiLo day and there are no cops left with credible evidence, you have to go with you know. I've used enough of credible evidence and while both of you seem scummy, I see what you' have done here.

A politician "buys" votes, or scams them from the people. It's a misanthropic view of what a politician is.

It's just as easy to validate what I did. I had no idea who is scum, and therefore am suspect of being swayed by any convincing argument. Then I would be an overpowered hammer who could've eliminated town unknowingly, while anyone with other perspectives would be powerless to prevent anything.

Hmm, I guess that does make sense, because politicians in reality do pretty much buy votes.

I don't know, both of you seem scummy - the only one I seem fairly certain about is Jace. I am leaning towards Victor, but you also had a fair share.

I thought that the main reason for your vote switch was that you considered myself a tougher opponent and that you knew I'd go for you tomorrow if we lynched Victor today. However, then I realized that if one of us dies and he isn't scum, night comes and another NK happens. There would only be 2 left and mafia automatically would win. With that in mind, now I think you went for me for the good of the town, because if you were scum and Victor wasn't, it would make no sense for you to switch when Victor was about to be lynched.

Thus, between you both, I still want to vote Victor.
But... It was so artistically done.
