As such, I'm not worried about it. Besides, here in Michigan, we could have used a little warming, February was the one of the coldest in history here.

Your obsession with mrswdk is really sad.

Al Gore may not be a scientist, but this organisation is composed of scientists, and they seem to think global warming might be a problem.

The reason I say it's not science is simple. It's not an absolute. The fact that there are many respected scientist on both sides proves that it is not an accepted science yet. Take gravity, for example. There is no debate on gravity, it has been proven to be a law. But you cannont create a scientific model proving global warming. And there are many scientists who don't believe in the mad hysteria surrounding the current arguement. I am not a scientist, and don't care to look up the agruements for or against. However, the data is there for anyone to look up. Believe what you will. But remember, global warming has NOT been scientificly proven. If you want to have faith that it exists as a problem, fine by me.

There is more evidence than not that global warming is real - besides, by constructing solar panels, wind turbines, and nuclear power plants, we are boosting the economy. So even if it isn't real, we boosted the economy.
I think Richard Branson offered a prize to the first person who can create a CO2 -> O2 + C machine.
And made the air cleaner, to boot. So even if it's not causing a global warm-up, people will be healthier in general. Now if only they would eat right and excercise....unriggable wrote:Serbia wrote:Stopper wrote:Serbia wrote:Global warming, as a major problem, as portrayed by Al Gore and others, is NOT science.

Well even so it would be nice if we could take care of the enviroment and not destroy the ecosystems. Contrary to popular belief, we can't survive without certain animals and plants.Serbia wrote:unriggable wrote:Serbia wrote:Stopper wrote:Serbia wrote:Global warming, as a major problem, as portrayed by Al Gore and others, is NOT science.

The one problem with the "evidence" is that it's debatable. It is not conclusive, therefore, not science.
But ok, I'll cool it with my "not science" arguement for a bit.
