Mayor George Chewman sat in his luxurious office and deliberated over what had been happening the past few days. Although the town's efforts had caught many mafia members, he was uncomfortable with the number of citizens who were dying during the process. Suddenly a great idea came to mind. After moving around the many papers on his desk, including his plans to have to town drink nothing but liquor, he pulled out the form he was looking for. He looked up from his desk and saw a mysterious figure standing there. It was clad in a lab coat and had an evil look about him.
"Doctor?" the mayor asked, recognizing him from the town.
No other words were spoken. The Mayor's advisors found him in the morning with a scalpel rammed through his neck.

A shadowy figure slipped into the hotel room of Leonardo Moretti. He was not sure why his boss wanted the Italian dead, but he followed orders without question. The villain sneaked up behind the actor and grabbed him by the head, with the intention to quietly snap his neck. With only the slightest twist, the actor seemed to collapsed in a dilapidated heap. The figure thought it was curious that he died so easily, but rather than search the body he he merely cursed how pathetic Europeans were and escaped into the night.

Leonardo Moretti: Strike Wolf - Town Crier (Recieves information if he targets a NK victim) has been killed!

Elsewhere, the town was getting outrageously drunk as they tried to avoid drinking the water. Unfortunately, in their drunken state, they did not think that it would be dangerous to shower. Someone was possibly poisoned during the night, but until the poison kicks in, no one will know who it is.

Well, not a major loss here I guess. Hmm, is it not a CPR doc who killed Violet then, but rather some sort of evil doc? Herk says he knows the doctor. He had better check to see why he is killing everybody up here. Is he still on his ban?

Just wanted to let you all know I investigated Haggis tonight and he is the one with my own gun and 100% definitely Mafia. He has a gun engraved with my name and the style that only I can do. The gun was stolen from me before and from what I've been told, the scum had it. Wanted to let you all know that both here and in other Mafia games I will be posting much less due to the fact that I am having my exams these two weeks, but this was too important to skip.

I've left most of the things I know in my few previous posts (everything that town needed was posted), so use them as directives. Depending on how many there were from the start, I think we're almost scum-free, although surely there should be more threats (probably Herk), but, hopefully, cops will be smart enough and test out the few that are left...

That's good enough for me. Haggis is just too sneaky, I couldn't find anything overtly scummy in his posts. That role of Commander's seems legitimate though, so I'll see what ol' McMuffin can come up with.

I've reviewed a lot of people's posts through the our days and I can say that mafia has been playing really well. These guys couldn't be newbies that attract a lot of attention to them and who know better than not to contribute. Two people in particular have posted quite a bit and it seems that they contributed, but both of them have also been behind as of the main advocates for our both lynches so far and of whom both turned out to be townies. Both of them also been smart enough not to go to too many bandwagons and have been consistent enough through the game. They've also done really well to convince that aage is scum even after he claimed...

Yes, Haggis and Flores, I'm talking about you two. (P.S. Haggis, I loved when you posted that huge post saying that you'll make lots of mafia members and others unhappy - brilliant effort )

Also noticing same pattern as night 2: one kill by some doctor and one straightforward kill with a gun, thought night 2 had probably a pgo as well as some poison. Victor's claim of two mafia roles might be true, though I'm suspicious of anything he said, especially after he admitted to being scum.

Ha, i was afraid this might happen since you claimed gunsmith, but I had hoped it wouldn't happen today ...
I won't have very much time to discuss the following because I've got 2 exams tomorrow, 1 on saturday, 1 tuesday and 1 wednesday, so yeah ...

Anyway, you shouldn't trust backstory so readily, it'd be kind of weird if Mr.Squirrel subverted the role of gunsmith like that by basically telling you with 100% certainty that someone is scum, wouldn't it?

Basically I'm an FBI agent/profiler, and I'm hunting down the head of the mafia. Each night I can verify somebodies psychological profile and see if it matches with any of our criminal profiles.
The gun belongs to my personal enemy, the guy I've been hunting for 13 years, the head of the mafia. I had some weird backstory about how I recently got very close to catching him in a snare, he managed to escape but left his gun, which I took as a trophy of sorts. This is why i was worried this might happen when you claimed gunsmith.

Well done, as pointed Nag Haggis' behaviour yesterday was more than suspicious, nice to have the confirmation.

Touché. I admit I played that poorly. Might as well leak some things I know:
1. There are 2 mafia factions, freezie wasn't apart of mine but blakebowling was.
2. I am the poisoner. I performed my poison kill on Fircoal Night 1. The only other person left in my faction killed freezie last night.
3. My poison kill is unblockable, and if I don't make the kill for my mafia, I can investigate someone's alignment. I investigated Flores and got innocent... I've only done one investigation, obviously, so who knows? I could be insane or something.

Any more stuff you'd like to know before you lynch me? (I will not rat out my partner in crime, though )

I have a feeling if Vic was telling the truth about mafia factions, which I still doubt, Haggis could be likely on his side since he was seeming annoyed by his outing

I'm not sure whether Haggis is really trying to make a gamble with Jace's life which would point out to Jace really being scum, or he's just throwing a fake bone. Seeing how elaborate he made his fakeclaim, I think if he turns out to be a mafia cop the next target could really be Jace...

Sure, Haggis has looked scummy the previous few days but jace has also been someone heavily on my scumdar so I vote that we trust Haggis for now and test out his theory on jace. vote jace. I don't really buy the 'Mr Squirrel created an pro-town role that has a mafia gun to make it an interesting game'-story.
However, nagerous's proposed plan of action sounds pretty solid, especially since the FBI agent sounds a pretty cool role to keep alive.

Bytheway, Haggis, do I get it right that you only have the profiles of one mafia fraction, and that if you target somebody of the other mafia, you will not know that?
i.e. ga7 could still be mafia for instance?

I'm really not sure how readily we should accept this claim. If he is mafia and has a NK, I think it would be better to kill him now than to have to NK him tonight and still let him get his kill in. For reasons I don't want to go into right now, it would be very good if we could lynch a mafia member today. Haggis and Flores were going to be my choices for last night, but communication wasn't perfect with my ban, which is why Sax died... So I am still for voting Haggis. Commander9 hasn't steered us wrong yet. He was right about Vic, so let's vote Haggis.
