About CC turning into the No Fun Zone. The fucking new dice system sucks. Fix the God damn thing already Powers that Be. The dice are ridiculous and sucking all the fun out of this site. True the dice may be random on the grand scale, but if you take smaller samples, the dice are anything but. They sway with such polarization it takes the fun out of the game. The game only has two dice modes: destroy or destroyed. Where's the fun in that? Last I checked this was supposed to be a game of strategy and not one of who's fortunate enough to get the glory dice. f*ck this site. You won't be getting my money next time around. The only reason I still play is that I enjoy the clan activities and the dice are starting to ruin that shit too.

are large samples not necessary for accurate results ?

My contention is that over the whole span of things they may even out, but if you look at smaller samples, you would see how streaky indeed the dice are.

"counting and figuring out bonuses" means two thing - counting territs and figuring out bonuses Yes indeed it does. People should be able to do that on their own, and not use stats or bob to tell them.

"..a foggy game recently where everyone knew the army income for everyone else if they were using bob, whilst those that didn't use bob did not have this facility." - this is totally wrong and kinda silly thing to say Not totally wrong but who is going to spend the time to log read 200 lines just to figure out which bonuses are which and who has what? Stats and Bob make it easier now

- bob is nothing but a calculator that puts all the information, already given by the game log and map, in one place so u dont have to scroll through the game log and stare into the map every damn turn and waste time.. We agree bob is a time saver but we do not agree bob helps prevent mistakes from reading the logs and messing up.
- ppl who use bob dont get any extra info and dont have to add up or detract things which is totally boring and has nothing to do with strategy Learning to play fog games used to be a real task. Now fog games are lots easier with stats and bob. I do not use bob, but stats are in my face so... BTW I agree log reading is boring but those who did it used to be rewarded.
- ppl still need to figure out bonuses on their own in the fog cuz bob doesnt do that Bob does not tell you they own bonus X but bob does tell you they are expected to get X amount of troops to drop. I think anybody with half a brain can figure out which bonus they own.

and what is so wrong with teammates cards??? I so wanna know..As both me and COF said... If you are too lazy to type your own cards in chat out you should not have the ability for your teammates to see them. Teams that did this on a regular basis were getting rewarded in games, and teams that did not were at a disadvantage. Now everybody is even. Just another small thing that could separate the elite from the good.

I shall take us all back in time down memory lane, back when CC was just an infant on the internet. For those of you who don't remember this time frame, fest your eyes on what the homepage has evolved from to now. 8-)

What gives?

I haven't been around here in a long while, but I'm terribly confused about what's going on... Would someone mind pointing me in the direction of Flamewars and explaining what in hell an intensity cube is? The map foundry nerds seem to have been keeping busy. Has there been discussion about capping them at 700 maps or so, or perhaps having them tone it down when they start making maps detailing the progression of the creation of maps? This is still a site that lets me play "a game which is no way related to the game Risk which is the copyrighted intellectual property of Hasbro" right?

Thanks very much for the exhaustive list of 'smilies' that has been provided to help me better explain myself in my post, by the way. The English language on its own was such a blunt tool.
