Terminator Wins

Postby Super Nova on Thu Dec 02, 2010 11:06 pm

What happens if there is a tie in a terminator game? And if it is decided by whoever is the last person alive, then what happens when the tie is between two other people?

What do you mean by 'tie'?
If you win a terminator game, I believe you get credit for all the kills. For example, if I play an 8 player terminator, only kill one person, but win the game, I get credit for having had 7 kills on that map; this is assuming that they are unique kills.

The "winner" of a Terminator game is whomever is the last player left. Always. The only difference is scoring is based on elimination, so you can get the most points but still not win the game.

there could be a tie if both people left deadbeat out or if both a destroyed by a nuke attack

in these instances i believe the last colour is the winner

so Yellow in a 4 player game, Pink in a five

I believe that for nuclear games, the elimination from cashing in a set of spoils depends on the alphabetical order of the spoils cashed in, not the last colour.
Say that there are only 3 people left in a terminator hive game, and Player C is forced to cash in a set. He cashes in "A01", "B01", and "C01". Player A has his sole territory on A01, Player B has her sole territory on B01, and Player C has his sole territory on C01. After the cashing, Player C would win because his C01 territory is alphabetically last on the list of spoils he cashed in.

pretty sure it's the last card drawn in the set
so I draw Virginia turn 1, Maryland turn 2, and Delaware turn 3. My last tert is Virginia, yours is Delaware, so you win

for missing turns sequential is obvious, free is the last player to join (yellow in 4player, pink in 5, etc.)

wrong it goes by the play order so it is the last player of the round so say pink goes first it is red who wins.

I thought that if you killed yourself in that situation, then you lose.

There was a thread about this a little while back. The spoils are played alphabetically. So if you kill yourself and the other person using nukes then the person who had the last territory alphabetically wins if I remember it correctly.

I am searching the forums and if I can find it I will post the link.
