How to quit games

Postby Rabid Dog on Sat Nov 27, 2010 7:53 pm

I joined this site thinking this might be a fast paced game and this is not the case. I just discovered the speed round turns; however, i'm not premium and in order to remain entertained I have the max four games going at once. How do I quit a game so that i can start a different one with the speed rounds?

Thanks,

Can't quit...got to finish the game before you can move on. That or buy premium so you can play speed games...

Pretty sure you have to be premium to play speed games as well.

It is impossible to quit any game you play, regardless of membership status. However, there are two main options you have to make sure that you have a space available for a game and/or a fast game:

  • The Callouts tab in Live Chat
    • If you keep yourself at 3 games, you can go into the chat room, click the tab that says "Callouts", and ask for a real time (rt) game. This demand will encourage players to play until the game is finished from beginning to end. However, be warned that an rt game is never official and it isn't uncommon for someone to have to leave early in an rt game, leaving you potentially stranded with another game.
  • Premium Membership
    • Premium Membership means that you get unlimited games and that you can play speed games (5 minute turn durations) in place of casual games (24 hour turn duration).

Membership is 25 USD per year. It really is nice, being able to play more than 4 games. Also, if you don't have a way of paying for it, you can ask someone you know with the means of giving it to you to do so via Gifting. Just send them that link and they should be set. Have fun on CC!
